Shangri-La Ancient town and Songzanlin

It's very easy to get to the Songzanlin Monestary, you can take bus number 3 across the street of North Gate and stop at 松赞林寺. Ticket bus cost 2 RMB (cash/wechat scan) The ticket for the Monestary will cost you 75 RMB (with local tour guide +15 RMB (non English). I spent about 2h there and take some cute pictures. #mytripvlog #wintergetaway#bucketlistreboot

#bucketlistreboot If you are riding a car from Li Jiang to Shangrila- this park/gorge is in between. Tiger Leaping Gorges is a place where you can see strong current / waterfalls all year round. Note that to get the best view of the gorges, you need to walk down around 200-250 steps for the actual feel of the strong water current. Not that you will really see tiger around, it’s just belief that previously there are tigers around the area.

The tiger statue is very tiny actually from across the gorge. So so crowded, with many steps. But if you are unable to climb up the steps, there’s always the sedan service which cost about rmb 150 to take you up the steep steps. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway
