Shaoguan Journey

Shaoyang Tower is an antique building with rich cultural connotations and a unique architectural style, located at the summit of Lotus Mountain in Shaoguan National Forest Park. Shaoyang Tower has a long history. According to the pre-Qing 'General Records of Guangdong', Shaoyang Tower already existed in Shaoguan City at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty poet Xu Hun once wrote the seven-character regulated verse 'Shaoyang Tower Banquet at Night in Shaozhou', but unfortunately, the Shaoyang Tower mentioned in the poem was abandoned by the end of the Yuan Dynasty. The current Shaoyang Tower was built on the former site of the Lotus Mountain Pagoda. In addition, the night view of the century-old Dong Street and Fengcai Tower is very beautiful, and Zhongshan Park is also worth a visit
