☀️Donghu is located about 5 kilometers east of Shaoxing. In the past, when Emperor Qin Shihuang went on an eastern tour to Kuaiji, he supplied hay here, hence the name Donghu. Donghu is one of the three famous lakes in Zhejiang, known for its strange stones and caves. It is also the filming location of the Mother River in the 86 version of "Journey to the West". ✔️There is a large-span single-hole stone arch bridge at the entrance of Donghu, named Lanyue Bridge. Under the bridge is the famous Zhejiang Ancient Canal, which is part of the World Heritage "China Ancient Canal". The ancient canal runs from west to east, with a total length of about 200 kilometers, running through Hangzhou all the way to Ningbo. ✔️Cross the Lanyue Bridge into the park, walk along the lakeshore and the bridge, and follow the crowd to a pier. Here you can only take a Wupeng boat to tour the lake, and you cannot walk. ✔️Because I wanted to climb the mountain more, I saw the mountain climbing stone steps on the side of the mountain, so I climbed up a small hill and looked for the entrance to the mountain. Sure enough, I found the entrance at the foot of the mountain, but I don't know why it was closed. ✔️There is a secluded harbor under the mountain, which is called Donghu Shipyard. There are rows of Wupeng boats parked inside. Donghu Shipyard is a place to repair and build Wupeng boats. This unique water transportation tool in Shaoxing, its canopy is made of bamboo chips, coated with a mixture of tung oil and coal, the color is black and shiny, hence the name. ✔️Return to the opposite bank along the original road, walk along the lakeshore, and the beautiful scenery of the mountains and lakes in front becomes more and more exciting. There is an arch bridge in the lake connecting the two banks. Wupeng boats are constantly passing under the bridge. It is like a beautiful ink painting, with beautiful scenery and beautiful scenery. ✔️Continue to walk around the lake, and there is a slightly arched slate bridge on the lake, which has more Jiangnan water town style. I walked to the end of the lake, thinking that I could go around to the opposite bank, but I didn't know that the road was broken here. ✔️There is no way, I can only go back and cross the slate bridge to the foot of the mountain on the opposite side of the lake. Here you can see the Horn Cave and the Xiantao Cave, but the Taogong Cave at the deepest part of the lake is not seen. I heard that you can take a Wupeng boat to get there, and you can also reach it by mountain climbing. ✔️The scenery at the foot of the mountain is the most beautiful, especially the boulders and caves here. When I returned, I came to the top of the arch bridge and looked down at the entire Donghu. The Wupeng boat was traveling on the green waves, and it was a beautiful lake and mountain.
