2-day tour of Shexian County, Anhui Province!

On the third and fourth day of the New Year, two families of friends decided to take a short trip. We set off from Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, in a business car with six people, and left at 7:00 am. Day 1: We arrived in Shexian County at 11:30 am. We originally planned to visit Huizhou Ancient City first, but found that there were many cars on the road and traffic was heavy, so we changed our itinerary and went to Yuliang Dam first. As it was already noon, we went to the popular Yuliang Restaurant. After lunch, we took a walk around Yuliang Dam. At around 2:00 pm, we went to Huizhou Ancient City, where there were fewer cars. We found a parking space easily. The museum in Huizhou Ancient City only requires on-site reservations, and you can enter after waiting for half an hour. There were many tourists during the Spring Festival. We finished our visit at 3:00 or 4:00 pm and bought a group deal for the Interstellar Hotel in Huangshan City online, which was much cheaper than buying it at the hotel. We had Huizhou cuisine at the hotel in the evening! We set off at 8:00 am on the second day and went to Tangyue Memorial Archway. Tickets for this attraction cost CNY 65 per person. We joined a tour guide and listened to the commentary while visiting the attraction. We left at around 10:00 am and headed to Xin'an River Landscape Gallery. We drove along the Xin'an River and enjoyed the scenery along the way. We had lunch at a homestay near the scenic area. After lunch, we wanted to go to Yangchan Tulou, but found that the road to the Tulou was blocked for 2 km. We turned around and went to another ancient village, where we took some aerial photos! Then we went home. The total cost for two families was around CNY 3,500 (freeway tolls were free), including food, accommodation, fuel, and attraction tickets.
