Siena, a small town near Florence

Located in the Tuscany region of north-central Italy, Siena is about 50 km away from Florence. The city is known for its medieval architecture, giving visitors a sense of stepping back in time. It takes about an hour to get there, and the most common ways to visit are by taking a bus from Florence or renting a car. Siena Cathedral is particularly famous, and there are many attractions such as Piazza del Campo. Especially during the season, Piazza del Campo hosts races and offers a lot of interesting sights.
