Address: Level 35, Orchard Wing, Mandarin Orchard Singapore Shisen Hanten, helmed by Chef Chen Kentaro, is a fine dining restaurant, serving szechuan cuisines. it has 14 branches in six cities, and Singapore branch has been awarded two Michelin star for consecutive years. Famous with its signature Chen’s Mapo Tofu, is stirred fried tofu with hot Szechuan pepper-flavor meat sauce, slightly spicy but it pairs so well with Japanese white rice. They are also serving other famous Szechuan dishes such as Dan Dan noodles, signature steamed chicken with sesame sauce, century egg with beancurd and my personal favourite - steamed fish fillet with pickle vege served in hot stone pot.
