Helix Bridge

#singaporetrip The Helix or the Helix Bridge is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay area. The design of the bridge was inspired by the DNA double helix spiral molecule. The bridge's unique spiral design is iconic. It is the world's first curved double helix bridge.Very pretty bridge... strong bold man in the day and a fab beautiful woman during the night. Not just a bridge, it's an all-side art and SG bay view deck.

#bucketlistreboot Helix Bridge is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay area in Singapore. The entire bridge was opened on 18 July 2010. It can be reach either from Bayfront or Promenade MRT station with around 10 minutes walk. At one end of the bridge is Youth Olympic park, Singapore first art park was also opened on July 2010. Beside is the Marina Bay Floating Platform, a multi purpose outdoor venue at the area of Marina Bay. The float was built in 2007 as an interim venue for events usually held at National Stadium in Kallang, such as our National Day Parade ( NDP ).
