#singaporetrip First and last time eating at parallel sg Club Street… because they are moving out this Saturday! . Ordered the //Sweet Corn and Bacon Omelette// and it was an open-faced omelette covered with sweet corn kernels, super fried bacon bits, red bell peppers, cheese, cherry tomatoes and some green veggies. Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this dish. While the omelette was admittedly thin and normal tasting, it was the sweet and savoury ingredients that made me full after I left about a crescent shape portion to start on my next main course. I mean, just look at this thing. It’s CORN! 🤭 It’s funny how when I wanted tom yum I got something else and when I wanted chilli crab I got tom yum. That was the case here for the //Chilli Crab Linguine// as the house-made tomato sauce mixed with chillies had the sharp and tart flavours like the familiar herbs used in tom yum, plus was spicier than expected. I had to eat more cherry tomatoes (both here and from the omelette) to relieve my tongue but after a while, it got accustomed to the heat I guess. The crab meat were quite small but they are there, and the linguine was quite QQ. Got the set so it came with salad and a drink, of which I chose cold brew. Unfortunately, the black coffee was too sour for my liking. #trip #cafe
