The North of England’s war memorial

The Northern outpost of the imperial war museum in Salford Quays provides and insightful insight into conflicts that have taken place over the last couple of centuries. Some of the fascinating exhibits on display here include a harrier jump jet, a Russian T-34 tank and part of the structure of the twin towers that was left following 9/11. Every hour the walls of the museum become a base for an hourly projection depicting scenes and stories from modern wars. #voyagevibes
