JW Marriott Surabaya.

🌸Because the Westin was too expensive, I chose to stay at the JW Marriott for my last day in Surabaya. When I booked, I could tell from the photos that the hotel was quite old and hadn't been completely renovated, especially the bathroom, which was very dated. The amenities weren't the usual Aroma Therapy ones from JW. However, it's probably one of the top hotel brands in this city. 🎈The location is in the old city center, about a 10-minute walk from the second largest mall, Tunjungan Plaza. There are also many small shops nearby, especially convenience stores, of which there are 4. The staff were very friendly and the front desk staff spoke good English. 🎀The breakfast restaurant seemed to be newly renovated and looked a bit like a glass greenhouse, which was quite nice. There were lots of options, including made-to-order gado gado, Indonesian fried rice, French toast, Indian pancakes, and various juices and coffees. The experience was pretty good!
