The intricate architecture, vibrant sculptures, and peaceful surroundings instantly made us feel connected to the deeper essence of the New Year vibes. One of the highlights was walking through the temple’s beautiful courtyard, adorned with fountains and dragon motifs that seemed to come alive. The atmosphere was filled with the scent of incense and the sound of devotees’ prayers, creating a serene experience. We also made wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity for the year ahead. The visit wasn’t just about the temple. Nearby, we discovered a whimsical statue of a giant deity—a playful touch that brought smiles to everyone. For a moment, it felt like stepping into a storybook where tradition meets modernity. To make the day even more special, we indulged in a rejuvenating hot spring experience in Beitou afterward. Soaking in the warm waters surrounded by lush greenery felt like the perfect way to refresh both body and soul, ready for the adventures of the coming year.
