Is this price for real? Extremely Satisfied with Hompton by the Beach Penang Hotel

I went to Penang Island with my Japanese friend in November! I had heard that the weather in November isn't great, but miraculously, it didn't rain, and we enjoyed our trip without needing an umbrella!! The hotel we stayed at in Penang Island was 'Hompton by the Beach, Penang'. While searching for hotels in Penang Island on trip.com, this hotel was recommended. It is a four-star hotel with beautiful photos, and it was 67% off, so I immediately booked it after consulting with my friend! 🏖️ Atmosphere/Facilities: When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby wasn't very spacious but it was clean, and the staff were friendly, making the check-in process smooth. The room was also clean and tidy, with a beautiful ocean view from the window. The amenities were well-stocked, including towels and bathrobes. The shower had good water pressure and hot water was readily available. They also provided body lotion, slippers, and an iron. However, there was no conditioner, so if you need hair care products, it's best to bring your own! I met up with my friend later at the hotel, and they were also very satisfied with the comfort of the hotel! The view from the window was great, with a clear view of the sea in the morning and beautiful night scenery at night. The surroundings were quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. My friend had a Zoom meeting using the hotel's Wi-Fi the next morning, and there were no issues. We hadn't included breakfast in our booking, but we decided to have breakfast at the hotel. We went to the front desk in the morning and added breakfast to our stay. We enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast with an ocean view. There were a variety of options including Japanese, Western, and desserts, making it hard to choose what to eat. During breakfast, a staff member approached us and asked us to write a Google review. In return, our breakfast fee was waived. I'm not sure if we were randomly selected or if it was part of a campaign, but we were very lucky to have our meal for free! This hotel is a four-star hotel, but it has a vibe similar to Hilton Pattaya, which we really liked. There's a beach nearby, so you can go and enjoy the sea whenever you like. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Penang Island!! It's about a 40-minute taxi ride from the airport. 💰 Price per person: We stayed in a Deluxe Room (without breakfast) for two nights, and the total cost for two people was 4,165 Baht (approximately 18,745 Yen). This works out to 4,686 Yen per person per night! It's unbelievable that such a comfortable hotel is available at this price...!! Breakfast can be added for MYR48 (approximately 1,645 Yen) per person! In Malaysia, there is a tourism tax when staying at hotels, so we paid 6 MYR (approximately 206 Yen) locally. We had a really wonderful time at this hotel for two days^^
