Hokkaido Swan Snow Hot Spring Guide

Hokkaido's Kussharo Lake is a stunning natural hot spring where you can bathe with swans. The Kutan Hot Spring on the shores of Lake Kussharo is a must-visit spot for experiencing wild hot springs in eastern Hokkaido. It's incredibly relaxing to soak in the warm hot spring while watching swans resting on the frozen lake. 🌀Features: The scenery is stunning, but the -18°C temperature and the cold wind by the lake can be quite challenging. Since it's a mixed-gender hot spring, you'll need to wear a swimsuit. 🌀Tips: I visited both at noon and sunset, and I recommend going at sunset. The water sparkles in the sunset glow, and even the swans seem to be draped in golden veils.
