Experience Local Life at Yokochō Izakaya
Next to Shinjuku Station lies a famous tourist izakaya street. Every time I pass by Shinjuku, I can't help but wander into the narrow alleys to soak in the smoky aroma of grilled food. This place is a must-visit in Tokyo, offering a glimpse into old Tokyo. The narrow, maze-like alleys are filled with small eateries serving yakitori, udon, and various other dishes. Find a restaurant for yourself, savor authentic delicious food, and experience the local lifestyle.
Please note, whether on the street or in the tiny restaurants, it can get very crowded. But it's worth a visit! These restaurants are cash-only, so make sure to bring yen to enjoy your time. The atmosphere changes with each time of day, offering a unique experience every visit. If you love izakaya culture, don't miss out—it's a memory of a lifetime!
Loving Ginza, a trip to Tokyo isn't complete without visiting it.
Ginza is a district that caters to everyone, from its bright neon lights and high-end stores to local alleyway restaurants and shops. It's iconic, much like New York's Fifth Avenue, and is Tokyo's most upscale neighborhood. Besides the very traditional Japanese stores, there are exquisite international shops worth seeing. Even if it's beyond your budget, it's delightful to browse. Among the luxury designer brands, you can also find charming boutiques and famous Japanese brands like MUJI. Even if you're not shopping, strolling around and people-watching is incredible. The stunning retail experience, high-end brands, and the sheer number of people are amazing.
I believe no one should visit Tokyo without seeing Ginza. Here, I can truly savor the essence of this vibrant city and happily spend endless hours discovering its treasures.

Mysterious Night: Tokyo Speak Easy Bar Tour
In the early 20th century America, Prohibition gave rise to Speak Easy bars, secret places that became havens for people seeking relaxation and social interaction. Today, Tokyo retains this sense of mystery with gems like JANAI COFFEE and A10. These bars are not just places to drink; they are time tunnels that transport me between the past and the present, allowing me to experience a unique atmosphere.
During the day, JANAI COFFEE is a busy takeaway coffee shop, but at night it quietly transforms into a hidden bar. Through a side door of the takeaway shop, I stepped into this unknown nightlife sanctuary. The decor exudes Japanese elegance, allowing me to find a touch of tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Every sip of coffee or cocktail is filled with care, as if telling me the story of the night.
A10, on the other hand, is known for its unique entrance. I needed to go through an inconspicuous locker, which gave me a sense of adventure. Upon entering the space, the warmth of a hot towel immediately soothed me, and the meticulous service made me feel especially cared for. The bartenders on the menu always bring surprises, creating unique cocktails that make me look forward to new taste adventures with each visit.
Whether it's the tranquility of JANAI COFFEE or the mystery of A10, these two bars showcase their attention to detail in every aspect. Choosing either one will undoubtedly give me a unique and unforgettable night, making me love every corner of this city even more.
Came to Japan for six days, and only then did I realize how great Shanghai is!
After six days in Japan, it feels so good to land in Shanghai today!
✔️ Finally, I don't have to smile and nod to everyone, being overly polite to everyone . When I first arrived in Japan, I thought the Japanese were too polite, with a strong sense of service. After a few days, it felt too exhausting to keep up the act, constantly saying thank you so much, arigato...
✔️ Finally, I don't have to stay in a very small hotel anymore, though being poor is my problem~
✔️ Finally, I don't have to hesitate to take a taxi; taxis here are really expensive. It cost nearly 500 RMB to take a taxi from Haneda Airport to the Akasaka hotel. However, Japan's subway and bus systems are very developed, and you can get to where you want to go using public transportation.
✔️ Finally, I can eat watermelon and other fruits in big bites. Fruits here are quite expensive, displayed very delicately, and taste very good. Back home, I will eat fruits to my heart's content.
✔️ Finally, I can walk on the street while drinking coffee and eating. In Japan, you don't see people eating on the streets, and even in shopping malls, you have to eat in designated areas. Once, we bought egg tarts and couldn't find a place to eat them all the way. We took them to a restaurant for lunch, thinking we could finally eat them, but the waiter told us we couldn't eat outside food.
Of course, the service industry in Japan is really great, the restrooms are incredibly clean, everyone follows the rules, and everything is done with great care. It's worth coming to visit, to learn from their strengths and use them to our advantage.
In the next few days after returning home, I will definitely go for some hot pot
Tokyo Dome is FULL of Excitement -love🥰♥️

I would really thank them for the first floor of the S-seat stand, which includes leather seats, chairs, tables, and beverage seats. I was lucky enough to be placed in the third to last row on the mountaintop. Anne was still moved by the unforgettable night, even on the mountaintop. Taylor's artistic vitality was truly infectious, and she was really cute with many small expressions and actions that were really likable. The beauty of dance is truly unparalleled: a piano covered in fresh moss, a treehouse in the forest, and diving to change equipment Is it really like other concert designs that have walls. Speaknow era sang 'Longlive' because in the past, it used to be a song that could only be performed after the end, and tears welled up in her eyes. Red era performed it three times and I really love it, but without Red. Eighty nine era has wild dreams, my family, who knows. The surprise song is the eyes open unplugged version, I really cried The Current Situation of ATW's Ten Year Old Fans Appreciating the Beautiful Dance of an Era Tour.

🌸 A complete day tour to Tokyo's iconic spot 🌸
#citydaytours
At the end of my last day trip in Japan, which is in Tokyo, I made myself exploring the city in the event of vibing with locals.
As I read on the website, many people have recommended this remarkable spot which full of Sakura during Spring season.
Yes, as this named Sakura Street, located near Shibuya station you will see a sea of Sakura flower on the street and also witnessing the beauty of Sakura trees pouring down its flower. I could only spending hours just for this Sakura, i feel sick blessed that I can see Sakura my own so that I can tell the world that Sakura is one thing you must see at least once in your entire life! 🥹
It was not only Sakura street satisfied me. I move myself to another mesmerizing spot, Meguro River which located not so far from Shibuya. Again, it is all about Sakura flower as I am a huge fan of this. Here, you can do a canal ride or even just relaxing your self and breathe fresh air by the river with full of Sakura flower. This will gonna be you best day in your life! 🥹🌸

Tokyo - The Most Picturesque Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots
Last year's most unforgettable trip was at the end of March to Tokyo. Due to the warming weather, the cherry blossoms bloomed earlier than usual, and we were lucky enough to catch the streets of Tokyo in full bloom.
The early blooming cherry blossoms filled the streets with smiling faces of tourists. This year, the cherry blossoms in Tokyo bloomed a week earlier than usual. On the first day of the Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival, the cherry blossoms were already in full bloom, and many petals had already fallen on the river. We originally thought we would only see a few cherry blossoms in bud, but we were fortunate to catch them in full bloom.
Coincidentally, Tokyo had been cloudy recently, and the Chidorigafuchi boat rental was closed all day due to the weather the day before. We anxiously checked the official Twitter for updates, and woke up to find the sun shining, feeling relieved. Although it wasn't completely cloudless, we were able to go boating with a bit of sunshine, surrounded by the early blooming cherry blossoms along the moat. This trip was truly filled with the luck that every traveler hopes for.
Exploring Tokyo under the Cherry Blossoms on the Toden Arakawa Line
This time, I recommend a journey along the Toden Arakawa Line to explore the old Tokyo. With Tokyo's rapid development, streetcars that occupied road space were gradually phased out. Today, the Toden Arakawa Line is one of the few remaining streetcars in Tokyo. Japanese writer Haruki Murakami described the Arakawa Line in his work 'Norwegian Wood': 'The streetcar runs close to the eaves of houses, with ten tomato pots lined up on one house's balcony, and a big black cat sunbathing nearby. You can see children blowing soap bubbles in the yard, hear Ishida Ayumi's songs from somewhere, and even smell the aroma of coffee.' These sentences vividly depict the flavor of old Tokyo along the Arakawa Line. After purchasing a one-day pass for the Toden Arakawa Line, we start from Waseda University and head to Omokagebashi Station to admire the cherry blossoms along the Kanda River from the bridge. The bridges are close to each other, and with fewer tourists, you can slowly enjoy the scenery and take photos. Next, we head to Asukayama Station and visit Asukayama Park to enjoy a traditional Japanese fair under the cherry blossoms. After selecting delicious food from the food stalls, you can stand under the cherry blossoms and enjoy the song and dance performances. Additionally, from the elevated position in Asukayama Park, you can also see the Toden Arakawa Line trains, creating a picturesque scene of cherry blossoms and streetcars together.
The prosperity of Tokyo Japan 🇯🇵 is amazing.

Tokyo 🇯🇵 Eras Tour The best Show ever of Taylor swift.
#theerastour
In this life, at least dozens of concerts and music festivals, the Times Tour is definitely the top 1 in the whole field.
Obviously, I spent money to watch the concert, but there is a feeling of being treated with heart and wanting to cry.
Taylor sang and danced for more than 3 hours, and it took almost only 1-2 minutes to change clothes. Every time she wanted to sit down and want to slow down, she re-appeared. She was first-class and full of input (the dance skills were average, but she worked hard.
I also want to praise the stage, lighting and photography of the times tour, the beauty, the change of position and perspective, aesthetics and technology are all top-level, and I will definitely take out the type to revisit.
Not to mention the accompanying dancer, the
accompanying singer, and the band, super high level & super commitment, a hearty feast
It's a very late thing to like Taylor. During the postgraduate period,
1989 has always been the background music for my homework. At that time, it still belonged to
Guility Pleasure (some extent, I feel like a popular compromise.
And in recent years, Taylor has given me a new meaning.
Tlike the current mildew, been through something.

For just a seating fee of 500 yen (550 yen including tax), you can enjoy unlimited oden at this izakaya in Tokyo 😋. If you order a drink with your seating fee, you can enjoy unlimited oden as a complimentary dish!
We ordered tuna sashimi and sea urchin dishes along with our seating fee, and they were not fishy at all and tasted amazing.
For the first serving of oden, they will bring it to you, and from the second serving onwards, you can go to the oden bar and request more! Note that only Japanese is spoken here, so keep that in mind ✅.

Shibuya ~ The Most Iconic Place in Tokyo?! 🇯🇵
Shibuya might be one of the most iconic places to visit in Tokyo. Save this guide for your next visit to Japan! 🇯🇵
📍 Shibuya Scramble Square, also known as Shibuya Crossing. The iconic massive street crossing, is so crazy to see in real life. It’s right outside Shibuya Station so you can’t miss it! Remember to check it out at night to see all the lights too!
📍 Shibuya Hikarie Sky Lobby ~ there are many options to see Shibuya crossing from above, but some require tickets, reservations or queueing. Avoid all of this by going to the 11th floor Sky Lobby! It’s a bit further away from Magnet or the Starbucks, but it gives an amazing view.
📍 Nintendo Flagship Store at Parco. In fact, there are so many cool stores at Parco. Nintendo just happens to be extra special and has so much incredible merchandise!
📍 Hachiko Statue ~ honouring the most loyal dog in Japan, who waited for his owner to come back for nine years. It can get pretty crowded here and people will line up for a photo.
📍 Miyashita Park was previously a public park but has been transformed into a three storey mall with vibey shops, restaurants and cafes. On the rooftop you can find a starbucks and skate park. It’s a nice place to hang out!

Shiba Park is located near Akabanebashi Station in Tokyo. It's a popular spot because you can get a direct view of Tokyo Tower.
If you visit in the summer, you can walk on the grass, but in the fall, the grass is often off-limits for regeneration.
Shiba Park is quite spacious, so you can take a leisurely stroll and capture plenty of great photos with the Tokyo Tower view.
Disneyland Tokyo
For those visiting Tokyo Disneyland, there are four special attractions unique to this park: Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, Pooh’s Hunny Hunt, Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek, and The Happy Ride with Baymax. The must-try attraction is the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, the newest ride at Tokyo Disneyland, based on the classic Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, known in Thai as ‘โฉมงามกับเจ้าชายอสูร’. This ride is considered one of the most fun attractions in the park.
Shrine with long escalator
Address:
Hie Shrine

This shrine is located at the hilltop with a unique way of accessing it. There were multiple escalators connecting to the top. The view from the escalator was amazing. Enter through the Hie shrine sanno torii which is where the escalators are. We also tried the other entrance on the other side, the other one consists of many stairs. There are also many interesting installations in the area. One of them resembles Fushimi Inari in Kytoto. The Tori gate is very popular. There was a queue of people waiting to take photos. There was even a photo shoot going on.

"I recently returned from a 10-day trip to Tokyo, and I'm still reeling from the experience. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The city's neon-lit streets, bustling markets, and ancient temples made me feel like I was in a different world.
My trip began with a flight from Singapore to Narita International Airport, which cost me around $400. After arriving, I took a train to my hotel in Shinjuku, which cost around $20.
For the next few days, I explored the city using the efficient public transportation system, which cost around $2 per ride. Here are some of the top places I visited:
- Tokyo Skytree: $20 entrance fee
- Meiji Shrine: free entrance, but donations welcome
- Tsukiji Fish Market: free entrance, but sushi-making experience cost $50
- Asakusa Temple: free entrance, but Nakamise shopping street was a must-visit
- Akihabara: free entrance, but electronic shops and anime culture were a must-experience
- Shibuya Crossing: free entrance, but people-watching was priceless
I also took a day trip to Nikko, which cost around $100 for a return train ticket.
The food in Tokyo was incredible, and I had some of the best meals of my life. A sushi dinner at a high-end restaurant cost around $50, while a ramen lunch at a local shop cost around $10.
Here's a breakdown of my expenses:
- Flights: $400
- Train fare: $100
- Accommodation (7 nights): $800
- Food and drink: $500
- Transportation (subways, etc.): $50
- Activities and entrance fees: $200
- Total: $2,050
I would highly recommend Tokyo to anyone looking for a unique blend of tradition and modernity. The city has something for everyone, and I can't wait to go back."

✅ After living in Japan for 7 years and visiting Ginza countless times, I've compiled a list of ✅ 5 must-visit hidden gems❗
✔ Save this list and follow it❗ You'll really cry if you miss them❗
🌕PELLE MORBIDA GINZA
🧳 If you seek quality of life but don't want to carry the often-seen big brands, or if you want some leather accessories, this is the place to visit. ✔ Here, you'll feel that bags have a soul and vitality, ✔ rather than being just priced items. PELLE MORBIDA comes from Italian, meaning 'soft skin (leather)', and was born for mature individuals who pursue 'quality of life'. The high-quality, delicate leather, craftsmanship, and classic, simple designs are truly captivating! Plus, it's very wallet-friendly!
🌕CHOCOLATER PALET D'OR GINZA
🍫 One of the representatives of high-end local Japanese chocolate. The owner is Japanese chocolate master Shunsuke Saegusa. 🍫 In the highly competitive Japanese dessert scene, it has been selected for Japan's for five consecutive years, truly a formidable presence❗ If you come to Ginza, don't miss it. Although it's a bit pricey, it's really worth it. Each piece offers a soul-stirring experience❗ Also, 🍦 the ice cream is a must-try, it's really amazing❗
🌕Feiler Ginza
Wow! How can there be such a cute little shop? ✔ The cotton towel texture bags, handkerchiefs, and small storage bags are all so adorable! 🍓 The fruit and flower patterns are so beautiful and cute, and the texture is super soft❗ 🍓 The strawberry small water cup is stunning, and everything is exquisitely made! I really want to take everything home! There are also many limited edition collaborations, truly captivating!
🌕Koushindo Ginza Main Store
🉐 A century-old incense shop in Japan. Very few non-Japanese people know about it! ✔ Traditional Japanese incense is really worth knowing! Traditional incense has more ceremony and a more elegant and subtle scent compared to modern aromatherapy, and once you smell it, you'll be deeply attracted. ✔ The store has many types of incense, sachets, and scented candles, ranging from affordable to high-end, all of which you can try. You can also DIY your own sachets; there are many incense holders, incense boxes, and incense burners, ranging from cute and quirky to exquisite and high-end, with a rich variety. The store is full of Japanese style and is great to explore❗
🌕Kyukyodo
🉐 Another century-old Japanese shop. It has a history of over 300 years. Kyukyodo originally supplied incense and ink to the 👑 imperial family, which speaks volumes about its status❗ The first floor is filled with Japanese-style miscellaneous goods, such as wind chimes, fans, postcards, and greeting cards; the second floor mainly features incense, traditional Japanese paper, and 'brush, ink, paper, and inkstone'. ✔ It's also a shop that combines affordability and high-end products, ✔ making it very suitable for souvenirs.
Half-Day Tour of Tsukiji Market
The Tsukiji Market is closed on this Sunday, but most of the outer market is still open.
There are fewer people, making it a more pleasant experience.
I only waited about 10 minutes at Kurogin!
The food is delicious 😋. Strolling around Tsukiji is very relaxing and tasty, and the shopkeepers are very friendly.
Most places accept credit cards and Quicpay.
