Trotting around Trogir

Perhaps somewhat overlooked by many because of its proximity to its more famous neighbour Split, Trogir is an ancient mediaeval town. The old town centre is really well preserved and lies on a small island connected to the mainland by a bridge. Parts of the mediaeval city wall still remain intact. For sweeping views of the town and countryside around visit the bell tower of the 13th century Cathedral of Saint Lawrence.
