Khao Disalak Temple

The footprint of the Buddha at Wat Khao Disalak is a replica of the Buddha's footprint made of red sandstone. It is different from the footprints found elsewhere. It is a low-relief footprint, approximately 65.5 cm wide and 141.5 cm long. Archaeologists have different opinions. Some say it is Dvaravati art, dating from around the 14th-16th Buddhist century. Some say that even though the pattern is similar to Dvaravati art, there are other styles mixed in.
