Originally we were visiting only Verona and had to fly back in the morning, instead we decided to amend our flight for the evening and had enough time to spend on this lovely, romantic island. The views, scenery everything is as you can imagine! Stunning, beautiful and breathtaking. However, the prices ridiculously high. 😂 💞Reasons to Recommend: Because you have to see the island before it sinks!!! Did you know that Venice is sinking? Yup! It has been happening for centuries now and each year the city sinks about one to two millimeters. It will be probably a few more decades, or even centuries before it sinks completely, but isn't it amazing to know that in a few generations the city will be underwater?
