Laos Travel! Recommended hotels in Vientiane.

We spent 7 days in Laos, 2 days in Vientiane, 5 days in Luang Prabang, and stayed in 3 hotels. We originally thought that the hotels in Laos might not be very good due to the country's economic conditions, but the 3 hotels we chose were much better than some hotels in non-first-tier cities in China. Two of them were surprisingly good, and the cost performance was even higher in the off-season. (1) Mintra Hotel P1-3 Location: Located in the foreigner street of Vientiane, it is convenient for transportation, has a good security environment, and is not far from the attractions (especially the night market is within walking distance). It is very convenient to take a taxi. Some classic and delicious restaurants are downstairs, and it is not very uncomfortable to walk when the weather is hot. Hardware facilities: We chose a twin room, the room is modernly decorated, very clean and tidy without peculiar smell. The hotel has a very, very beautiful skyline swimming pool. The water in the pool is shallow. You can play on the shore even if you can't swim. There are very few people in the evening. If the weather is good, you can see a very beautiful sunset. Service: The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, and they can speak Chinese and English. It is okay to speak Chinese all the way, and they will not treat Asians and Europeans differently. I ordered take-out at night, and the hotel staff will send it to the restaurant, and then send it to the room after setting the table. Others: No deposit is required and no credit card is required. 2 bottles of free mineral water/day. Recommended index: 5 stars!! (2) Salana Hotel P4-6 Location: It is in the same block as Mintra, a few hundred meters walk, the location is also very good. Hardware facilities: The exterior of the hotel is exactly the same as the online picture (not a scam hhh), the interior is retro style, and there are small exhibitions and cultural and creative shops on the first floor. The bedding in the room is very clean. But because it is retro decoration, the room looks older, especially the air conditioning cooling effect is very poor, and the noise is also loud. There is a temple next to the hotel. It looks very beautiful during the day, but it will drum in the early morning, and it is easy to wake up if you sleep lightly. There are many trees near the hotel, so the ecological environment in the room is very good, with geckos and mosquitoes. Be careful if you are afraid. Service: The front desk staff are very good and responsive. We want some ice cubes and laundry powder and can be delivered to the room quickly. The front desk brothers and sisters can speak English, and there is no obstacle to communication. The cleaning aunt can't speak well, but after knowing that we have needs, she actively contacts the front desk to help us solve it. The people of Laos are really simple and kind! Others: Need to register a credit card but will not charge indiscriminately, 2 bottles of free mineral water/day, minibar charges. Recommended index: 3 and a half stars
