Baizhangji

Baizhangji Scenic Area is located in Huangzhuang Village, Baizhangji Town, Wencheng County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, 4 kilometers away from Wencheng County and over 100 kilometers away from Wenzhou City. The scenic area covers an area of 105 square kilometers and features numerous waterfalls and pools within its territory. In 2018, Baizhangji Scenic Area began to renovate and upgrade its tourism infrastructure. The scenic area mainly consists of two parts: the Liu Ji's Hometown Scenic Area and the Baizhang Waterfall Scenic Area, characterized by magnificent waterfalls, peculiar peaks, beautiful lakes, lovely pools, and a rich cultural landscape. In 2009, Baizhangji Scenic Area passed the national 4A-level tourist attraction assessment. In 2010, it passed the Zhejiang Province ecological tourism scenic area assessment. In 2020, Baizhangji Scenic Area combined with Liu Ji Temple to form the Liu Bowen's Hometown National 5A-level Scenic Area. In July 2022, Wencheng Baizhangji was selected as one of the second batch of famous mountain parks to be constructed in Zhejiang Province.
