In May, the hydrangeas in Wuhan Botanical Garden become a sensation throughout the city, and as June approaches, the water lilies and lotus flowers entering their peak blooming period are equally stunning. The large lotus pond is filled with various lotus flowers, truly embodying the saying 'Endless green lotus leaves reach up to the sky, while the sunlit lotus flowers show a unique red.' In the middle of the lake, there is a water-friendly wooden walkway for close-up viewing of the lotus flowers, suitable for photographing both flowers and portraits. The ancient-style wooden arch bridge over the pond adds a touch of the Jiangnan water town atmosphere. The lotus leaves stand tall, dancing in the wind, and the water surface is clear and round, as if one has stepped into the south of the Yangtze River. Next to the lotus pond, the water lily display area gathers more than a hundred varieties of precious water lilies, with rich colors that are amazing. A warm reminder, it is recommended to visit the lotus flowers and water lilies in the morning, as the water lilies may close early in the afternoon!
