Don't miss this place when you visit Wushan. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't have believed there was such a paradise-like homestay in the mountains if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes and experienced it myself. I was surprised and amazed 💯 So I thought I'd share this guide so that more people visiting Wushan would know about this place 😄 🕥 Date of visit: November 22–23, 2024 (2 days and 1 night) 🚩 Location: Xiaosanxia, Wushan, Chongqing - Muyan Homestay I've always wanted to visit Wushan, not for anything else, but for the artistic conception of "Once you've seen the sea, no other water will do; except for Wushan, no other clouds will do." 👉 Day 1: Take a boat from the visitor center to Xiaosanxia, see the cliffs on both sides of the river, the hanging coffins, the Sleeping Beauty Peak... and feel the magic of nature 📸. In the evening, taste the famous Wushan paper-wrapped fish 🐬, and after a tour, call Muyan Homestay, and they will send a car to pick you up. It takes about 40 minutes to get there, and the road is winding all the way. To be honest, I was a little worried on the way there. Would there be a good room in such a remote place? When I got there, I felt like I was slapped in the face. It's not an exaggeration to say that this is a paradise 👍 See the pictures 👀 👉 Day 2: After a good night's sleep, I wandered around the area and experienced the local culture 👣 I felt like I was returning to nature. The itinerary depends on your personal experience. But this homestay is really great. To sum it up: ✔ The homestay offers car pick-up and drop-off, so you don't have to worry about getting a taxi. ✔ There is a bathtub, and you can take a bath. There is even an outdoor infinity pool, which is great if you come in summer. ✔ The fruits and drinks in the room are free, so you can eat them as you like. ✔ Breakfast is free, but it is not served after 10:00 am, so don't miss it. It's delicious. ✔ There is a small café where you can take a break. ✔ The Wilderness Theater is a great place to check in and a great place to take photos. ✔ Don't worry about not having internet. The Wi-Fi is open and password-free, so you can access the internet anytime. You can add more after you visit. In short, although the trip was short and a bit of a whirlwind, it did fulfill my wish to visit Wushan.
