Checking in at Wuyi Mountain | Tiger Roaring Rock

One-Line Sky, Tiger Roaring Rock, and Jade Maiden Peak are three scenic spots on the south route of Wuyi Mountain, and it takes about half a day to tour them in sequence. However, the weather is too hot, so I chose to go up the mountain to the Tiger Roaring Rock after 3 pm. There is a walking path from One-Line Sky to Tiger Roaring Rock, but it's mostly uphill and there are no special landscapes along the way. Therefore, after visiting One-Line Sky, it is recommended to take the scenic area shuttle bus to save energy. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the entrance of Tiger Roaring Rock to reach a three-way junction. Continue straight ahead, follow the rock wall plank road, and you can reach Tiancheng Zen Temple without climbing. There are also nice views along the way. As a brave man, of course, I have to climb the 'Brave Man Slope' on the cliff, which is just over 100 meters high, to reach the Tiger Roaring Rock viewing platform, where all the views are picturesque. The path down the mountain is also very steep, leading directly to Tiancheng Zen Temple. As the most famous landscape under Tiger Roaring Rock, Tiancheng Zen Temple is built under a cliff that leans outward, forming a huge natural cave. The entire temple does not require a single tile, is impervious to wind and rain, and on the eternal cliff, a giant statue of Guanyin is carved, ensuring peace and auspiciousness for the area. Leaving Tiancheng Zen Temple, there's no need to go back. Head towards the direction of Rain Maiden Peak, the path is all downhill, and in about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the foot of Jade Maiden Peak next to the Nine-Bend Stream ⛰️
