Wuyi Mountain Dahongpao Scenic Area

Wuyi Dahongpao Scenic Area. Tianxin Yongle Zen Temple, a famous Buddhist temple, is where the ancestral home of Dahongpao is located. The Dahongpao Scenic Area is renowned for its ancient tea trees and tea gardens, some of which feature cultural stone carvings. It is one of the core scenic areas of Wuyi Mountain. After a vegetarian meal, we went to Niulan Pit. Niulan Pit is a representative of Wuyi Mountain's authentic rock tea fields. The valley's unique topography, with steep rock walls and less than 4 hours of sunlight per day, creates the long-lasting flavor of Niulan Pit cinnamon tea. The last stop in the afternoon was a hike to Shuilian Cave. Shuilian Cave is actually a large rock, fan-shaped and slanting outward, resembling a half-pot. The cave top provides shade and coolness. It is said that when the water flow is abundant, two streams of waterfalls pour down, forming two bead curtains, which is very spectacular. Unfortunately, there wasn't much water today, and it looked like children were peeing, trickling down.
