Xi'an City Wall: The wall is 12 meters high, 18 meters wide at the base, and 12–14 meters wide at the top (some say 15 meters), with a circumference of 13.74 kilometers (some say 11.9 kilometers). There are four main gates: Changle Gate (East Gate), Yongning Gate (South Gate), Anding Gate (West Gate), and Anyuan Gate (North Gate). These four gates are the original gates of the ancient city wall. Since the Republic of China, several new gates have been opened to facilitate access to the ancient city. There are now 18 gates in the Xi'an City Wall. The city wall includes a series of military facilities, such as a moat, drawbridge, sluice gate, arrow tower, main tower, corner tower, enemy tower, parapet, and crenel, forming a complete military defense system. The Xi'an City Wall Scenic Area is a scenic area centered around the ancient city wall, integrating the moat, green belt (including the outer edge of the moat), and Shuncheng Road. Visitors can cycle, walk, or take a sightseeing bus to enjoy the magnificent ancient city wall and the urban landscape of Xi'an. During specific festivals or events, the scenic area also hosts various cultural activities and performances, such as light shows and concerts, providing visitors with a rich cultural experience. It is one of the unmissable attractions with profound historical heritage and unique cultural charm.
