Tips for visiting Xianju Scenic Area:

1. I booked my ticket online. Students can enter for free, and adult tickets are CNY 99. 2. I took the cable car (South Entrance) both ways. The cable car costs CNY 65 per person for the uphill trip and CNY 55 per person for the downhill trip. Children under 1.2 meters tall can ride for free. 3. People say that Xianju Scenic Area is a pain-free mountain climb. This is true and false. If you take the cable car, you don't have to climb. The cable car and elevator will take you directly to the top of the mountain. However, once you reach the top, you will have to walk several kilometers. The mountain is not as hot as you might expect, and there is shade from the trees. However, the UV rays are strong. I only realized my neck was sunburned after I came down the mountain. (Remember to protect yourself from the sun.) 4. You can bring a little food, but you don't have to. You can finish the hike and eat after you come down the mountain. Water is not expensive on the mountain. 5. I drove to the scenic area and navigated to the Xianju Scenic Area South Entrance Parking Lot. I parked in the underground parking lot at the South Entrance, so I didn't have to worry about the sun. I parked for five or six hours, and the CNY 15 fee was reasonable. 6. If you take the cable car at the South Entrance, turn right after you get off the cable car and head to Foying Lianyun. Check if there are a lot of people. I arrived at around 8 am, and there were a lot of people. I waited in line and only had to wait in line again when I returned (the only attraction with a line). 7. Is it worth it? I think it is. The photos are great, and many of the bridges are hollow, which is thrilling. Many of the attractions are great. 8. We set off at around 8 am and came down the mountain at around 2 pm.
