Weekend trip to Xichang to see the Jacarandas💜 Two-day one-night itinerary right here!||If you're in Chengdu and you only have two days, then this flower viewing guide is perfect for you. 📷Best time to shoot: April 20-22, 2024 💜Bloom status: Xichang's Jacarandas have entered their full bloom, expected to be few by May Day. Best to hurry this week. -------- Suggested itinerary for a two-day one-night trip Day 1⃣ Morning 🚄 Chengdu-Xichang, takes 3 hours, rest a bit after lunch, then go to the citywalk in the afternoon to see the flowers I've ranked the spots I personally saw and photographed this year, for your reference ✔️Hangtian North Road⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you can only or only want to go to one place, don't hesitate, Hangtian North Road is the first choice, with large trees and dense flowers, love at first sight Even with the crowd, this place is the deserved C position! ✔️Wenhui East Road⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A very short road, narrow, with fewer people, the Jacarandas on both sides intertwine, like a purple tunnel ✔️The bridge next to Holiday Inn Express at Times Square⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Jacaranda trees are very close to the bridge, you can almost touch the flowers, great for portrait photography On the other side of the bridge, where Hangtian Avenue meets Binjiang East Road, you can stand on the bridge for a top-down shot, quite a novel angle ✔️Youjiatun Road/Entrepreneurship and Innovation Road⭐️⭐️⭐️ Both streets are quite short and next to each other. The streets are not wide, but the trees are dense, and key is, fewer people ✔️Jianchang East Road⭐️⭐️ This road is one of Xichang's main roads, very long, with Jacarandas planted on both sides You'll pass an archway called 'Jianchang Road' in the middle, ancient and elegant, matching the Jacarandas, quite charming ✔️Health Road⭐️ The road is wide and the trees are small, I personally find it average ⚠️Tips You can choose the flower viewing spots according to your own preferences and physical strength, if you find the distance between spots far, you can choose to take a taxi or bus. If you think you have enough time and energy, you can follow my route and walk it all, about 8 kilometers. The order is Hangtian North Road-Wenhui East Road-The bridge next to Times Square-Health Road-Jianchang East Road-Youjiatun Road-Entrepreneurship and Innovation Road-Back to Jianchang East Road-Tangyuan There are my tracks on the two steps, with flower viewing spots marked, you can download if needed. -------- Day 2⃣: Morning visit to Dashiban Ancient Village and Lingying Temple The main road of Dashiban Ancient Village is lined with Jacarandas, but the trees are quite small, and it's very crowded. Lingying Temple has orange walls, very photogenic, but there are so many people, you can only squeeze in to take a couple of shots, not a great experience. Afternoon go to Tingtao Town's Tingtao·Zhong Book House. Reading, taking photos, daydreaming all 🉑 ⚠️Tips If you only go to one place today, listen to me, you must go to Tingtao·Zhong Book House!!! The book house and the Jacarandas are a perfect match! The atmosphere is maxed out! Evening 🚄 back to Chengdu --------
