Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area in Henan

Yuntai Mountain is located in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. It is a national 5A-level scenic area that combines the wonders of canyons, waterfalls, streams, and Danxia landforms. It is known as the 'First Wonder Canyon of the North.' Strolling through Hongshi Gorge, the red rock walls and green streams intertwine to form a magnificent picture. The trails in the canyon are built along the cliffs, making every step feel like entering a natural secret realm. In Tanpu Gorge, the trickling water connects beautiful sights such as Pearl Waterfall and Dragon Phoenix Pool. The water is crystal clear, serene, and full of spirit. For those who wish to enjoy a panoramic view, you can head to Zhuyu Peak. Standing at the summit at an altitude of 1,308 meters, the distant mountains look like a painting, surrounded by mist. In autumn, the layers of forests are dyed in various colors, creating a breathtaking scene. In Quanpu Gorge, you can see the highest waterfall in Asia—Yuntai Heavenly Waterfall. During the rainy season, the water rushes down with great momentum, creating a spectacular and awe-inspiring sight. The scenery of Yuntai Mountain changes with the seasons, each with its own unique charm.
