Fukuoka Yanagawa🛶Japanese traditional boat experience

Yanagawa💚 is a suburb of Fukuoka, located in the south of Fukuoka. It has a long river, 930 kilometers long. Cruise ships can often be seen plying back and forth on the river. I took a boat tour🛶. The boatman was wearing traditional clothes and holding a pole. He kept explaining the history of nearby places to tourists and could sing Japanese songs and interact with the boat passengers. All the tourists enjoyed themselves on the boat. Finally, the boatman allows tourists to experience punting and take photos. The Yanagawa cruise takes about 1 hour to 1 and a half hours. The embarkation point is near the train station, and after disembarking, the boat operator will arrange a free shuttle back to the starting point. Yanagawa is famous for eel rice.
