A Yuan Dynasty ancient brick pagoda hidden in a cornfield in a rural area of Shanxi!

The Xiqingshan Brick Pagoda, also known as the Jin Si Master Pagoda, is located north of Xiqingshan Village in Nitun Town, Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, and is situated in an orchard north of the village. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Yangqu County. The Xiqingshan Brick Pagoda was built during the Yuan Dynasty and is a hexagonal five-story brick pagoda. The base and first story account for almost half of the pagoda's height, and there is a niche in the center of the south side with a blue stone pagoda inscription, indicating that it was first built in the second year of the Yuan Yanyou period (1315). The second and higher stories are built in a dense eaves style imitating wooden structures, with the top of the central pagoda inscription of the Xiqingshan Brick Pagoda horizontally engraved with large characters reading "Reconstruction of Longhua Zen Temple," indicating that the original temple was called Longhua Zen Temple, first built during the Longhua period of the Northern Qi Dynasty (576), but it no longer exists. The large characters vertically engraved in the center of the pagoda inscription read "Abbot Successor Sramana Jin Si Great Zen Master Wen Hui Shou," indicating that it is the longevity pagoda of Master Jin Si. On the right side of the Xiqingshan Pagoda inscription is a poem titled "Farewell to the Public" which reads: "A hundred years of Longhua rebuilt again, nine joys as a palace for Shakyamuni and Brahma, today I turn around and leave, a clear breeze rises from the eight sides of the staff. More than thirty years without leisure, the cause and practice are not sealed." On the left side of the Xiqingshan Pagoda inscription are the names of the people who built the pagoda and erected the inscription, as well as the date. In front of the Xiqingshan Brick Pagoda is the site of the former Longhua Zen Temple. The pagoda was stolen in recent years, leaving a theft hole.
