I thought Qingdao was already beautiful, until I went to Yantai

Last weekend, while at home, I stumbled upon a video of a stranded whale. It took me a while to find out from the comments that it was the Golden Sand Beach in Yantai, and I was utterly amazed! There's a kind of beauty that's lonely and breathtaking. I never expected to find such a place in our country, let alone visit it so soon!! I've been to Qingdao three times and Weihai twice—each has its own charm. But how to describe Yantai? I think its sea is blue like a little poem, not many tourists here, and the pace of life is very slow. I've put together a three-day, two-night guide 🤔 to share with everyone 👣Route D1: Arrive at the hotel at noon, Xincheng North Street, Binhai Middle Road, Haichang Fisherman's Wharf, Yantai Snack Street D2: Lonely Whale, Golden Sand Beach, Seaside Park, Yangma Island D3: Free time → Return trip On the second day, it's recommended to rent a car 🚗 for a self-drive tour, as the attractions are roughly distributed in the east and west directions, quite far apart. When you get to Yangma Island, self-driving will also be more comfortable than an electric car. 🏠Accommodation I recommend staying near Joy City and Yantai Station for convenient transportation and proximity to the sea. If you want to stay near the Yantai Snack Street to watch the sunrise and sunset and play in the sand, then stay near the Golden Sand Beach. 📸Photography Some tips❗️ Definitely choose a sunny day, on cloudy or rainy days it's better to refund your ticket than to come. ①: Whale Fall, navigate to 'Lonely Whale', if you want to capture an empty beach 🏖️ remember to get up early ②: Golden Sand Beach, the sand is very fine, come here to play in the water~ In the middle of the beach, there's a hall and a book-shaped lookout tower, beautiful for photos 3: Binhai Middle Road, navigate to the 'intersection of Xincheng North Street and Binhai Middle Road' ④: Haichang Fisherman's Wharf, known as Yantai's little Prague! You'll need a telephoto lens ⑤: Yangma Island, the glass sea is really yyds! The island 🏝️ is quite large, my favorite cave is in the Lotus Sunset 😋Food It has to be seafood 🦐 and Korean cuisine, you can also find the same kind of barbecue 🥩 as in Zibo I tried the 'Li's Geda Soup' for seafood, it was very OK, I stepped on a landmine with the Korean food so I don't recommend it 👍🏻
