All aboard the S-train from Seoul to Yeosu

#familytrips2024 🚆 There are several unique, themed tourist trains available in Korea you should check out for your next visit there, such as the S-train, which is the South Coast Train (or perhaps, S for Sea). We hopped onboard the S train from Seoul to Yeosu, here are our tips! 🌼 The train isn't as fast as the bullet train but it's also cheaper, and there are a variety of vibrantly decorated carriages which will enchant both young and old, including a dining carriage where you can sit on traditional style seats. 🌸 The first one hour out of Seoul there isn't much by way of scenery since it is still quite built up and you're just exiting the suburbs. Once you hit the countryside though, there are occasional groves of cherry blossoms and pear blossoms which are beautiful in the spring time. 🧳 Train tickets for the special train can be bought on Korail directly. Tip for those travelling with large suitcases - there aren't dedicated luggage racks for large suitcases nor are they monitored in any way (they are just lolling about by the toilet). As such if your suitcases cannot fit on the overhead rack, your best bet is to get a seat at either the 1st or last row of the carriage - there you can stash the suitcase either in front of you(a little cramped for your knees for tall people), or slide it behind your seat. #koreatrip #traintravel #korea
