A hidden gem in Yixing!

Yixing is known as the "Pottery Capital" of China. Su Dongpo once wrote, "I will grow old in Yangxian, for its streams and mountains are beautiful." The Yao Lake Town, a town themed on pottery culture, was built with a huge investment. You can enjoy them all with one ticket. You can play indoors or at night if you are afraid of the sun. ✅ Train: 50 minutes! The train passes through bamboo seas, lakes, and tea gardens. The scenery is beautiful, like a scene from a Hayao Miyazaki anime. The train runs slowly, so you can take photos. Air-conditioned trains are available in summer. ✅ Dragon Water Show: A large water show with water, fire, light, and music. A visual feast! The show starts at 8 pm every night. There are seats for the audience, and you can also watch it at the lakeside square. ✅ Single bamboo drifting: You don't have to go to Guizhou to see the amazing "water ballet". Pool party by the lake: There are band performances outside the Lake Bar on Fridays and Saturdays until the end of summer. 🚂Travel tips: 1⃣ There are shops in Yao Lake Water Park. You can buy or bring your own swimsuits. Remember to wear sunscreen in summer. 2⃣ Check the weather in advance. It is recommended to visit on sunny days or when it is drizzling. 3⃣ There are many food options in the town. You can enjoy authentic Yixing food at the Chinese restaurant in Yao Lake Hotel.
