Off the beaten path

We went to Yuzawa as part of our month long trip. We rode on the worlds longest gondola, soaked our feet in the hot springs foot baths available along the street, enjoyed hot springs coffee and blueberry cake. We had a delicious curry on top of Mt Naeba and enjoyed the hospitality of Yuzawa Grand. Where we live there is no autumn season so we are really enjoying the colourful leaves. Japan is having a long summer season this year so apparently there isn’t quite as much colour as usual but we don’t care it’s an amazing beautiful country in any season.
