Tianmen mountain

Place: Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China Price: (July, 2022) 278 (round way cable car) Tianmen mountain 天门山 is well known for it’s Heaven’s gate. You can take the cable way for several minutes up to the walking platform then you walk upstairs or take the escalator to the Heaven’s gate. You enjoy the view from the Heaven’s gate then you take several escalators to the walkway. There are two walkways: long and short. Both lead to the cableway. If from the foot of the mountain you took the short one, then now you take the long cableway which takes 30 minutes. Each time only 8 people can get into the cable car so be prepared to wait in a long line. We waited for 45 minutes. #mountain #mountainview
