| An unexpectedly excellent stay at Crowne Plaza Zhengzhou High-Tech Zone. My last staycation before the New Year with friends, we chose Crowne Plaza Zhengzhou High-Tech Zone. In the past, I wouldn't have chosen a business hotel like this, but after staying at almost all the (not too luxurious) hotels in Zhengzhou, I was most curious about this one. The simple reason: almost all of my favorite singers and celebrities choose to stay here. Crowne Plaza Zhengzhou High-Tech Zone opened not long ago, and the facilities are well maintained. I had already gotten a feel for the hotel when I passed through the lobby on my way to the Camus Restaurant buffet six months ago. This time, I booked an executive suite during the off-season before the New Year. The room is 71 square meters, with two bathrooms and three sinks, and a separate dressing area. Staying in a hotel in a familiar city is less exciting, and I always feel like I'm scrutinizing everything. During my two-day, one-night stay, I paid attention to the details I care about, such as the corners of the carpet, the kettle, the pillows, and the welcome fruit. The breakfast selection and parking services were all very thoughtful and worth praising. It snowed heavily in Zhengzhou on the day I checked in, but by the time I checked out, the sun was shining. My friend and I took a walk around Lianhua Park near the hotel. She said the hotel is close to the highway entrance and convenient for getting to the Olympic Sports Center, which is probably why it's popular with celebrities. I think Crowne Plaza's positioning within IHG is great. The price of a standard room at InterContinental can get you an executive suite here, and the hardware style is not very different. This hotel is unexpectedly excellent, and I think it will become my top recommendation for friends visiting Zhengzhou!
