Tiananmen Square Travel Guide.

A real National Day tour🇨🇳 Experience a rich life with 18 full-picture live broadcasts😏 On October 3rd, I took more than 1100 photos and videos with two mobile phones... More than 30,000 steps, almost exhausted... But but but! Almost no queuing to enter Tiananmen Gate, almost no queuing to enter the Great Hall of the People Only queued for about 15 minutes in front of Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall Almost no queuing to see the night view at Tiananmen Square in the evening All travel tips and experience posts are here (some may only apply during National Day) 1. To get to Tiananmen Square, it's best to avoid several stations on Line 1! Wangfujing Station is far away and security checks are troublesome. My experience is to take 256 (different routes for day and night!). 2.⭐ Take Line 2 Inner Ring, exit at Ping'anmen B2 (Front Gate Station closed during National Day). In addition, during National Day, some exits may be temporarily diverted or closed. For example, when I went, B2 was not open and I had to exit from B1. Please refer to real-time policies. ID cards may also be checked. Please prepare them in advance~ 3. After exiting Ping'anmen B2, follow the crowd to the security check on the west side of Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall. This entrance does not distinguish between bags and no bags! Bags and no bags can enter together! Don't be confused by online guides~ Security check is very fast. I didn't bring a bag, only a body search. Queued for 7-8 minutes to enter. 4.⭐ Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall is divided into a bag-free lane and a bag-checking lane. The bag-free lane is much faster (now only accessible from the east, individual entry is no longer allowed for group entrances). 5.⭐ At night, to enter Tiananmen Square, buy a ticket to Zhongshan Park and walk straight in after visiting. 6.⭐⭐⭐ If you don't go through Zhongshan Park, walk along the road from Zhongshan Park's Xihua Gate towards Tiananmen Gate. There are two security checks along the way. Show your ID card and have your luggage checked. If you have water, drink some. You can bring it~ Walk all the way to the west side of Tiananmen Gate subway station. The queue inside, close to the red wall, is for entering the square. Pass security check. Please note that you must make an appointment! I just asked the security officer last night, and these days, entry is not allowed without an appointment! But⚠️ The appointment time is not necessarily in the evening. As long as you have made an appointment for the day, you can enter to see the night view. But it must be the same day! Tested and effective. 7.⚠️ If you want to take a photo of the five-pointed star on the ceiling of the Great Hall of the People in the Ten Thousand People's Hall, you must bring a selfie stick longer than 50cm! Take a photo by pointing it inside. It is impossible to take a photo by holding your phone. The little brother next to you will not help you take a photo... At the same time, Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall does not allow any filming equipment (selfie sticks and cameras are not allowed). If you are a tourist visiting both places, consider storing your luggage. Overall, a day of sightseeing, although the number of steps is explosive, the experience is very pleasant. Almost no long queues or crowds. I wish you all a good tour experience. Happy holidays~
