Strolling in Zhongshan: Encountering Unique Scenery

It is an indescribable pleasure to stroll alone through the streets and alleys of Zhongshan. On both sides of the street, buildings full of Lingnan characteristics are scattered in an orderly manner. The carved window frames and quaint arcades, every detail tells the long history of this city. Before I knew it, I arrived at Xishan Temple. As you climb the stairs, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the ancient temple hits you. There is a wisp of incense smoke rising from the temple, and the red walls, green tiles and emerald green ancient trees complement each other, creating a unique charm. The main hall is solemn and dignified, and the devout prayers of devout believers can calm people's hearts unconsciously. Interestingly, when I shared photos of Xishan Temple with friends, some people mistakenly thought it was Shanxi Province. If you think about it carefully, the names "Xishan Temple" and "Shanxi Province" do sound somewhat similar, so it's no wonder that such a joke happened. This also made me realize that Xishan Temple in Zhongshan is still somewhat unfamiliar to many people. It does not have the fame of famous mountains and rivers, but on this piece of land, it silently guards the spiritual home of this city. The joy of traveling alone may lie in these unexpected discoveries and wonderful associations. In Zhongshan, you may encounter different scenery at every turn, and gain new and interesting things from every communication.
