Chaoran Pavilion (Su Shi Memorial Hall)

Chaoran Pavilion is located in the center of the north wall of the old city of Mizhou, slightly to the west, and is a cultural relic in Zhucheng City, Shandong Province. In 2007, Zhucheng City rebuilt Chaoran Pavilion. In January 2010, Chaoran Pavilion (Su Shi Memorial Hall) was officially completed. Chaoran Pavilion is 10.74 meters high, over 150 meters long, with a total construction area of 7,000 square meters, and an exhibition area of more than 3,000 square meters. Su Shi deeply loved this pavilion, personally inscribed the three large characters 'Chaoran Pavilion', and wrote 'Record of Chaoran Pavilion' to commemorate the event. In his spare time from official duties, Su Shi created a large number of famous works on the pavilion, such as 'Shuidiao Getou - When Will the Moon Be Clear', 'After the Snow, Writing on the North Pavilion Wall', and 'Wang Jiangnan - Written at Chaoran Pavilion', gradually forming the transcendent thought of 'wandering beyond the material world' and 'finding joy in every journey'.
