Zhuhai Marriott Hotel I went to Jinwan Marriott for a staycation again this weekend. With the opening of the airport line of the intercity railway, it is very convenient to get there from Hengqin. With the employee and family discount, the room rate was only CNY 560 per night, and I was upgraded to an executive suite as usual. Although the view was of a construction site, the suite was on the same floor as the lounge, so I could get drinks anytime. The room is 75 square meters, with a one-bedroom, one-living room, and two-bathroom layout. Although it is a business hotel, the round corner sofa and desk make the room look lively, and the mini bar is designed in a trendy new Chinese style. The bathroom is a bit cramped, but the modern hardware and Villeroy & Boch bathroom fittings are a perfect match. The lounge is slightly smaller than before, with afternoon tea canceled but more soft drinks available. There is not much food during happy hour, but the cocktails are good. The breakfast selection is limited, but the quality is acceptable. The outdoor pool is great, and the lounge chairs are similar to those at the Sanya Edition, giving guests a resort feel. Overall, this new Marriott is good, and the price of over CNY 500 is perfect for a weekend getaway.
