Yongji Park in Winter

Yongji Park is the largest park in Zhuozhou. It is currently being renovated, and most areas are closed. The flood damage is still visible along the river. I walked on Yongji Bridge, overlooking the Juma River flowing under the bridge, and gazed at the ancient-style buildings on the other side of the river. The sparse trees on the riverbank looked bleak and desolate. Yongji Bridge was first built during the Wanli period of the Ming dynasty. A new bridge was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty and connected to the old bridge. Yongji Bridge is very beautiful. The railings are made of white marble, and the bridge deck is paved with huge stone slabs, which are neatly arranged. The bridge is beautiful and cute. You can see the whole Yongji Bridge from the highway bridge next to it. As the longest stone arch bridge in China, Yongji Bridge looks like a rainbow lying on the river. The nine bridge holes are arranged in order, showing a sense of order and beauty. The entire bridge is more than 600 meters long, with a graceful shape.
