Motel di Katoomba

Nice location and facilities. Just reception time is vert limited for example can not check in between 12:30 to 4:30pm due to the reception is closed. Far from this all good. Clean.

While the location was good, the motel itself was not. When we first walked into our room, it smelled damp and musty, and the carpet, chairs and even the beds felt damp too. There were numerous spiders and bugs in the room, including one in the shower, and there were also a number of dust webs which showed it clearly hadn't been cleaned recently, or at least not thoroughly. Furthermore, the beds and pillows were very hard, many of the power points were inaccessible due to their location behind the bed, and the bathroom was very small. We had booked for two nights but left after one as we were so disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, especially due to the current spread of the virus.

Family of five in 2 bedrooms in the Family Room. Very comfortable and quiet even on a main road. Very clean and convenient for Scenic World and Jenolan Caves. Had a toaster, fridge, and microwave. Highly recommended.

Ia adalah hotel yang penuh dengan sejarah dan itulah sebabnya bilik, kemudahannya agak lama. Bilik balkoni kami ok dan pemandangan dari balkoni bagus. Saya seronok melihat matahari terbit di sana. Bilik itu tidak begitu luas tetapi anda mendapat semua yang anda perlukan. Kipas ekzos di dalam bilik mandi benar-benar kotor dan hanya membuat saya berasa tidak selesa. Harap pihak pengurusan hotel akan fokus kepada kebersihan bilik air.

Wonderful break in the Blue Mountains. Enjoyed the charm of this beautiful heritage accomodation. Sipping wine on the front veranda or having a cuppa in the formal living room we felt like Royalty. Thanks to Dillon & Jeremy for getting us an accessible bathroom beautiful rooms and Michelle for her excellent attention to detail with the night customer service. The lady serving breakfast was super nice and even got us gluten free bread. If you want a special glamorous place full of old world charm to remember your visit to Katoomba the Palais Royale is your go to. Thanks team we will be back!

I was on a holiday trip to Sydney in Australia with my wife and son and had decided to visit the famous Blue Mountains. I had read on one of the websites about the High Tea at the Lilianfels Luxury resort and Spa. We reached the resort around Lunch time, once inside we were welcomed by Bryant at the front desk and he was kind enough to personally usher us into The Lounge of the resort. One could see some of the earlier guests relishing the extravagant spread of the High Tea. Since we had walked around quite a bit earlier that morning we were all game for a proper lunch. The moment we were settled in our seats at the table, Mr. Geoffrey walked up to our table with the menus, my son ordered a Gin and I settled for a Beer. The drinks were promptly served by Adrian. The menu was impressive and included a variety of dishes. My son ordered a Sous-Vide Cooked Lamb Shank and both me and my wife allowed Geoffrey the liberty of ordering for us. He suggested a Wild Mushroom Risotto for my wife and a Salmon Pave for me. Kalani took down the order and proceeded to have it prepared. Mr. Geoffrey briefed about the hotel and its lavish and famous High-Tea and we look forward to relishing it whenever we are in Katoomba next. Our meal was promptly served by Kalani, Renuka and Adrian. Our compliments to the Chef, the food was excellent. The Lamb Shank was perfectly cooked on the bone and the meat came off the bone with a prick of the fork. The Salmon too was perfectly cooked with a crisp skin. My wife relished the Risotto with wild Mushroom. To sum it all up it was a perfect afternoon lunch thanks to Bryant, Geoffrey, Kalani, Renuka, Adrian and the Chef.

One Of a kind. This hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, the staff are pleasant nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was just perfect and Ling our waitress was delightful. I would recommend a room with a view. I cannot fault this hotel, and I have stayed in many all around the world. Great customer service, clean, old-world charm at its best, close to all attractions and eateries and nice fireplaces to keep you warm. Would I stay again most definitely.

We arrived at the motel on foot with suitcases & a lot of noise of water blasting in the car park. As pedestrians we entered the motel at the front of the street, only to find we were on an upper floor. We were assisted to the correct floor. However signage would have been helpful in the first instance. We had a long stay at the Katoonba town Motel. Its primary positive was its location. When I checked in I asked where the onsite computers were located. To be advised they were no longer available. This was disappointing because I had intentionally left our laptop at home because of their availability as shown on their web site. To their credit they arranged a computer for our use. Pictures on there web site also show a phone the room, NOT. After a few days our sleep was being affected by the hard mattress. We asked if we could have a softer mattress. We were advised they would source one. After a few days nothing, which led to the site manager at the time offering another room which we accepted. There was a small percentage, (established after a few days) of relief but could have been better. We found out on our last day that there were softer mattresses onsite. Management could have acchieved a better result if they asked the staff that know what is actually onsite. Probably the most annoying part of our stay was the servicing of our room. It was not being serviced all the time. The staff were on rotation with other facilities & some staff refused to service. And management knowing they had not been serviced did not rectify the problem until it was asked by us. The excuses were unbelievable for a hospitality business. Confirmed by other staff there was no excuse & it should not have been left unserviced. Some staff offered good service & help, however because of the rotational system of staff between 3 facilities, the quality was not consistent throughout our stay.

We stayed just one night with 2 kids at the family room with 1 queen & 2 single beds. We booked directly from the hotel website. All earlier communications were via email with details provided for late check-in retrieval of our room keys. The details given were incorrect but a number was provided at the hotel reception for after hours enquiries. It was promptly answered and our room sorted out. Room looked like it was recently renovated, very clean and beds were comfortable. Cutleries, kettle and microwave provided.
