Staff was very helpful. I was having problem with my alipay and the counter staff helped solve my issue. We bought tickets to Tian Men Mountain and Zhang Jia Jie Forest Park through the inn and he was kind enough to make sure that our tickets had no problems. Location was good. Near Tian Men Mountain entrance. Lots of good food. No need to worry about meals.

I picked the best hotel to spend a night in Furong Town! It was perfectly located in the center of the Ancient Town, so it was easy to walk everywhere. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a fabulous view of the river. The owners are incredibly friendly and communicated with me through WeChat to answer any questions I had about the city. They provided a schedule of events, map, etc. They also arranged a taxi for me to the train station and gave me a kind gift at checkout. I felt very safe and welcomed as a solo traveler. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel that made my experience with my newborn truly special. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, helping me with my luggage and even offering to help with any extra requests. The facilities were clean and comfortable, making it easy for us to settle in with our little one. The hotel also had a lovely atmosphere, which made our stay relaxing. The city view is impeccable! I was particularly impressed by how accommodating they were, allowing us to enjoy our time without any stress. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to any new parents looking for a friendly and supportive environment. They truly made our stay memorable!

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret! The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

I was given the room in C building which is facing the main road. That means loud noise. Moreover C building is 200m away from the original reception. The wifi didn’t work/ worked poorly. In addition the mattress is quite hard despite I generally prefer a harder mattress, it was still too hard for me.

I choose this hotel based on previous reviews and they couldn’t have been more precise! I think this hotel is #1 if you want to have THE BEST view of waterfall (book on Floor 3 or 4) The staff was amazing picked us up and dropped us off to and from the train station and helped us with our bags. Breakfast was just as explained hard boiled eggs and a local bread. I’m a coffee drinker but I guess it’s not a thing here in China so don’t expect your morning coffee with bacon eggs and toast. I’m a picky eater had I known I would have brought snacks to enjoy the view of the fall from my room (it was amazing) room SUPER CLEAN! All staff SUPER NICE and they try to communicate through WeChat or translate. I would defiantly stay here again!

Pemandangannya bagus, biliknya luas dan selesa dengan bilik mandi yang besar, tiub mandi di balkoni (mengapa tidak) dan perabot ber***a ”Cina” yang bagus. Setiap hari mereka menyegarkan bekalan air kami dengan dua botol. Pemilik atau tuan rumah sangat baik dan membantu. Walaupun dia tidak berbahasa Inggeris, dia berusaha keras untuk membantu menggunakan penterjemah. Dia menempah untuk kami kebanyakan tiket ke tarikan, mengatur pemindahan ke lapangan terbang dan membantu kami merancang laluan di dalam taman. Sarapan pagi hanya mempunyai satu pilihan, tetapi pemandangan dari teres di mana ia dihidangkan dan makanan itu sendiri menakjubkan. Sangat disyorkan. Bernilai setiap sen dan banyak lagi.

This was the BEST hotel in our trip to China. Extremely friendly staff, helped us with everything (directions and even call Didi for us). The room is big and soooooo comfortable!!! Everything is very clean! The location is perfect, 10 min by walk to the national park and in front of the hotel has a lot of good restaurants. If you are looking for for a GOOD and CLEAN place to stay in Zhangjiajie, here is the right one.

Good location. Staffs are very nice especially a lady who wear eyeglass, she take very good care of us even she cannot speak English but she tried to translate and explain everything. We stay on 4th floor, a room is very clean and comfortable to stay. I can sleep very tight even no air conditioning but the weather is cold. I recommend to book for this hotel.

The owner was so kind to pick us up at the main entrance and escorted us and brought our luggage to the hotel. Hotel was small but cozy, and we were amazed by the spectacular view of the river and mountain background from the balcony. This place is so unique, like painting in chinese literature. At night, you can hear modern music and I like the euphoria of people singing and talking to each other up till midnight. It is such a wonderful experience staying the night in here.

This accommodation was excellent. The rooms were big, modern and clean, with great views of the local landscape. The service is fantastic. A lot of the staff speak good English, and go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after in your visit to the area, including free transport to the park and transport hubs. The breakfast is good and varied, particularly the cakes and cookies. We also had dinner every night in the hotel restaurant and it was always excellent. Really recommended, particularly how much effort the staff make to welcome western travellers. There’s also a very friendly dog, and lot of cats, who all like to come and say hello.

The best place to stay in Zhangjiajie. We really felt at home, the service was very special, the hotel is a family business and we felt very welcomed. The service is exemplary and we are fortunate to feel very well looked after. We had a very pleasant stay here at this hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, even with the tatami beds we felt that it was cozy and the bed was spacious for 2 person to roll around. The rooms are clean and had all necessities, they even provided welcome snacks and drink for us when we arrived, and gave us a bag of extra snacks when we left! There’s a laundry washing machine for free available on the top floor. The staff were very nice and friendly, they ensured that we have everything we need and made us feel very welcome. I saw her patiently using a translator app to help non-Chinese speaking foreigners too. The location is just nice 10mins walk from the bus station, and about 15-20mins walk to the entrance of the park. We would had loved to stay longer if we can! Super recommended++

Excellent location as it is within walking distance to tianmen cable car. Might be hard to find the place if you don’t read Chinese as the English name can’t be found outside the building. The room itself is very clean and I think it’s new. Even though there are no smoking signs, people still smoke inside - including the owner. I was lucky to have a room that didn’t have any smell so that’s why I still recommend this place.

I had an outstanding stay here in Wulingyuan for four nights! The boss and her husband are incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped me figuring out where to go in the Zhangjiajie park and also drove me to the entrance of the park and bus station. They also arranged a ride to the Grand Canyon for a cheap price. I stayed for one extra night as I wanted to explore the park a bit further. As I left I forgot my (other) glasses there but they messaged me on WeChat and as I was in Zhangjiajie center they arranged to deliver my glasses for me for free! I must say this was definitely the best accommodation I’ve had in China during a bit over month that I’ve been here now. The place itself was also splendid, it was modern, well-kept and clean. Hard to think of any possible cons since I didn’t encounter any during my stay.

This hotel is super comfy. New hotel, everything is brand new. The Staff also very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and Aircon works very well. Close to Bus and train station, and also the cableway station to the TianMen Mountain. A lot of convenience store and also restaurant. There is one restaurant just a few minutes walk from the hotel. the food is fantastic. One of the best meal ever had in china. Sure comeback one day. Recommended

Very beautiful place to stay with river view. The two guys at the counter were very helpful with our luggage and arranged transportation for us even though we had an early train to catch. Overall nice experience 🔥

Stayed one night and highly recommend. Hotel came and picked us up from the railway station and dropped us back. Booked the panorama room which had good views. Hotel is not overlooking “the waterfall” but has a nice view of the water and town before the waterfall. Got beers from the fridge next door and sat on the balcony and watched the town at night. Location is within the town and need to pay to enter the scenic town but staff will help. Staff speak English and via Wechat and happy to help! Highly recommend this hotel and thank you for looking after us. We got breakfast at their restaurant, steamed buns and soup and was the best tasting breakfast so far! Thank you

Our stay here was good. The girl at reception is very kind and always wants to help, and even gave us a lift to the train station when we left, but you need to ask in advance. The hotel is right next to the scenic area of Furong. Our balcony and room were beautiful- but our mosquito net was broken so the room got very damp. Also there was some mould on the curtain in the bathroom and the chair on the balcony. The breakfast was free and very nice, although the kitchen it is cooked in looks a bit unclean which put me off. There was free snacks but no free water which we have experienced everywhere else in China. It looks beautiful at night. I wish it was cleaner.

Great place to stay to visit the Phoenix Ancient Town. Cars cannot go inside the Phoenix Ancient Town. So the hotel is well located on the edge and you can easily access by crossing the road and going down the stairs. The room was clean and had an air conditioner. Wang spoke English and was very friendly to explain the main attractions. She also assisted to carry the luggage. Thank you. As pointed out in other reviews, there are a bit of stairs to reach the hotel. As a trade off, you will get some amazing views. For tourists, please note that the easiest way to come here is via the Fenghuangguchen High Speed Railway Station. From there you will need to take a taxi for around CNY25. I don’t think there was Didi yet at the time of this review.

Hotel just a short walk from NanHua Road entrance. Hotel along river blank. Have good river view. Con side is rather noisy. Noise from people and tour groups tour along river blank and pub music noise. Room wise is spacious,. Bed comfortable. Con is insect in room if previous occupant opened up window. Have a big moth flying around in the room

The view from the room was amazing. We absolutely loved the balcony. It was our favourite hang out place during our 2 nights stay. The room was very spacious for 3 people. The bed was comfortable. They have proper amenities available. The toilet was very big. The location of the hotel was very convenient and it is walking distance to all the main attractions. It was a plus point as we were travelling with elderly people. The hotel staffs were very helpful and approachable, they provided us the digital map and gave us guidance on how to walk around the ancient town. They also offered better ticket pricings for the different attractions that was available. They came to fetch us when we arrived at the Nan Hua Men. They also arranged transport for us to the railway station as we were a group of 6. Only downside was the noise from the vehicles in the eating street in front of the hotel, and some tour groups start their tour as early as 7am in the morning, as they walk by along the TuoJiang river. However, that was not an issue for us. We woke up early to sit at the balcony and have our morning coffee while watching people passing by.

The hotel was comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. It was just a bit hard for me to find because of the name. But if you’re coming from any bus station, you’ll walk towards the map location, and will get to a fork road. The left one goes down to the river walkway, the right one goes to the hotel road. Take the right one and keep looking to your left, and the hotel is just a few meters from the fork road.

Superb location and amazing view from my balcony. Friendly staff and accommodating. I don’t speak mandarin but she (刘艳) was able to explain in details what to see in the area. Dos and donts. Also recommended a go to local restaurant for braised beef noodles. She was very helpful and fulfilled my requests. Highly highly recommended! The area can be a little noisy from the pubs (singing/music) nearby but it’s part of the vibes. I kinda enjoyed listening to the music. They stop at 11.30pm and completely quiet. Check this hotel out!
