This is one of the best home stays that we have ever stayed at. It is conveniently located right in them middle of Jiefangbei pedestrian street with 5 min walk from metro station. Although it is a home stay, we can have housekeeping service everyday with new towels. Front desk is already there to help. The host's responses are amazingly fast. The rooms are very new and clean. Will definitely stay here again next time in Chongqing.

I had a wonderful stay at Accolade Hotel Chongqing and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. What touched me was the hotel’s generosity in offering the breakfast buffet for every day of my stay. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made each morning something to look forward to. The selection was delicious and gave me the perfect start before heading out to explore the amazing city of Chongqing. The service was exceptional. Using WeChat to communicate with the hotel made everything incredibly convenient. Whether I needed assistance or had a request, the staff responded quickly and professionally. Their attentiveness made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another visitor. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of my absolute favourite features was the huge bathtub. It was wonderfully relaxing and the perfect place to unwind after a long day of walking and sightseeing around Chongqing. What truly sets Accolade Hotel apart is the genuine hospitality of its staff. Their kindness, warmth, and dedication made a lasting impression on me and turned a great stay into a memorable one.

I had an incredible stay on the 28th floor! The room was exceptionally wide and spacious, giving us plenty of breathing room. The view of Chongqing from this height is absolutely spectacular, especially at night when the city lights up. Everything was sparkling clean, and the housekeeping did a fantastic job. The location is also perfect—there are so many great restaurants just a short walk away, making it easy to find something delicious at any hour. Highly recommended!

Great location, dinner was good, but let down by malfunctioning hot water in the shower in 2 or the 3 rooms we booked.  We had only ice cold water from the shower. Thankfully it was rectified. In one of our rooms (2005) the shower stall glass sliding door had come off the rails, and could East have fallen on guests, causing serious injury from the weight of the door and broken glass. The check-in staff was very helpful, but the staff at breakfast on 6 Jan was quite unhelpful, and in fact started to argue about the prior breakfast arrangement our tour guide made with the hotel the previous day. Rather than saying she didn’t know and would check, she unilaterally decided the options were wanted (and had prepared the hotel for through our guide’s arrangements the previous day) were not available.

Nestled in one of Chongqing’s oldest suburbs, this hotel is an aesthete’s dream. My arrival was smooth thanks to the porter and hotel staff who met me at the closest drop-off location. Having WeChat and adding the hotel was a lifesaver. While English wasn’t widely spoken (except by the manager), the staff always seemed to understand my needs and requests. They were incredibly attentive and friendly. The room was stunning, as shown in the pictures. It was spacious and meticulously designed, truly a dream to stay in. As part of the booking, they offered a complimentary photoshoot. This was a unique experience and I jumped at the chance. Zihao, my photographer, listened to my needs and captured some incredible shots. These photos are a cherished memory. The breakfast staff were so friendly and a delight to see in the mornings. Despite not speaking English, one of the girls made a real effort to communicate. I surprised the hotel manager by asking him to organise a last-minute driver for the whole day to a remote town. He had it organised within 30 minutes. Another example of exceptional service. The only downside is the nearest Didi drop-off location is a bit of a downhill walk to the hotel and back. It was fine for me but those with mobility issues might find it tiring. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a beautiful sanctuary in such a fast-paced city. I can’t wait to return.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the service was good. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in/out was smooth. The location is also convenient for getting around. However, the room lighting was a bit dark, and the furniture feels slightly old, so the room didn’t feel as refreshed as expected. Still a comfortable stay overall, but I hope the hotel can improve the lighting and update some furnishings in the future.

The best location! It’s directly across the road (behind) Hongyadong and close to so many nearby attractions. Lots of food options (directly downstairs when you exit, on the right is a beautiful noodle store). The metro is close by and there are so many shops, malls, markets and places to explore. The view from the hotel was beautiful, the room comfortably fit two people with large suitcases. The room was refreshed daily with towels and water. The staff were very helpful if we needed anything and were happy to receive and hold onto some parcels we had delivered until we arrived. The wifi was good and the water pressure and temperature was great. We’d happily stay here again! It was so affordable and central 👏🏼👏🏼

Cindy di kaunter penerimaan tetamu juga sangat membantu, dan dia mengatur bilik yang hebat! Dia juga meningkatkan saya! Kerana saya mempunyai penerbangan awal keesokan paginya, dia membungkus saya sarapan. Walaupun ia tidak terlalu besar, ia masih sangat bagus. Anda boleh meminjam payung dari kaunter penerimaan tetamu apabila hujan. Hotel ini sangat bebas rokok, tetapi merokok dibenarkan di bar. Saya pada asalnya ingin pergi ke Golden Impression di tingkat enam, tetapi ada barisan, jadi ingat untuk beratur lebih awal.

Excellent service. Excellent location. Near the BRT (which we took only once). The service apartment is located in a block (that also had another hotel entrance), where the entrance to Fandiao is hidden from the main road. But aside from that, the building is noticeable and is the first tall building just before the viewing deck for the Qiansimen bridge and just before Hongyatong, as traffic flows (one way). My specific booking for this room was for a Saturday night - a one night extension - and we chose the Hongyatong view, as our original room was already booked. We could see the massive crowds from our window view out there at and around Hongyatong and on the Qiansimen Bridge on the May 1 weekend But the previous 4 nights, we were booked under my husband's name, and that room allowed us to see the drones show from the comfort of our large and beautiful room. That first room had a wall-to-wall window, that allowed us a view of the river, a block of apartments right in front of us, and some street views. There are pros and cons to different rooms. The drone show is on weekends. If you are not on weekends, the HongYa Tong view is nicer, but only my first room (which was much larger at 40 sq metres) had a long window seat which was lovely. I share a few photos, one with a view of Hongyatong (this booking, and from the other room, where we could see the drone show. Remember they are different rooms. But you could easily come downstairs and watch the drones from the little corner outside the lobby. There's still a crowd, but you could see the drones rising to the sky. The customer service was excellent, for some reason, we were first given paper disposable towels in our first room, and I rejected that for cloth towels which were then given to us. The reception is on the 19th floor, and all the service personnel were willing to please (communicate via WeChat, with translation). And always asked if there were things they could do. Some idiosyncrasies (from a Malaysian view). They have glasses in the room but no cups/mugs for making tea the conventional English way, but the customer service brought cups with handles when we asked for them. No tea or coffee sachets provided but there were bottles of water and soft drinks, which we didn't take. I think it may be the context where soft drinks (in th fridge) were deemed more suitable and glasses were provided more for soft drinks. I had brought some 3-in-1 coffee sachets all the way from home just in case, that seemed providential when we checked in. Corridors in front of the lifts on the floors are motion sensored, so we were at first surprised by the darkness when the lift opened, but we got used to it. You have to decide whether you support energy efficiency or not. 😂 All in, we had a memorable time in Chongqing, thanks also to Fandiao. I would go and stay again and recommend it. Just bear in mind that the road right in front of the hotel is closed to the traffic at night on weekends (and likely public holidays). Plenty of food nearby, and beautiful spots for photos. There's also a Lawson store across the bridge 100 metres away where we bought our sandwiches, buns, oden, and coffee, for snacks.
