Kemudahan hotel ini juga sangat lengkap, terdapat bilik dobi layan diri, sarapan pagi yang sangat baik, dan kakitangan perkhidmatan yang sangat sopan dan menyapa saya, seperti di luar negara. Lokasinya juga bagus. Ia hanya sepuluh minit berjalan kaki dari Taman Yuyuan dan berhampiran dengan Metro Laluan 10 dan Laluan 8. Ia adalah pengalaman menginap yang sangat memuaskan, dan ia menerima penarafan penuh lima bintang!

PPengguna TetamuA place worth its price. I choose this hotel mainly due to its price which wasn’t too expensive and met my needs (a rather bigger room). It was perfect due to the fact that I had a lot of luggage and the room was spacious enough. The location is also very nice, it is near various commercial areas and around 10/12 minutes walk from the green line (line 2), which I took to go to the oriental pearl tower. Something that surprised me was the delivery robot for takeaways, which was something I never saw in other hotels during my stay in China😂. Overall, for its price, the size of the room and the great location, I would greatly recommend this hotel👍🏻.

AAmy Nuengruthai PathumwongseAs this is The Ritz-Carlton, expectations are naturally high — and they were certainly met. From the moment I arrived, the check-in experience was warm and welcoming, accompanied by genuine smiles.
I would especially like to compliment Chris (I remember her name because it reminds me of Christmas). She was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and thoughtful, showing true attentiveness and care. Her service perfectly reflected the high standards and gracious hospitality that The Ritz-Carlton is known for.
One small tip for future guests: it may be best to avoid corner rooms. While they are comfortable, the view can be limited, and the room door is very close to the neighboring room. You may occasionally hear noise when the neighboring door opens or closes. Aside from this minor point, everything else was perfectly fine.

BBenDoverrrOverall a great stay at Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha. The room was clean and spacious, and the robot delivery service was a nice touch. Service was generally very good. The hotel is also conveniently located near Shanghai Disneyland, which is a plus.
Breakfast was quite basic with limited choices, and the lifts can be slow at times. Suitable for couples or staying with a spouse and children, but lacks privacy when sharing with parents or siblings. The toilet and shower area is very small with no space to hang clothes inside. The bed faces the mirror outside the bathroom, affecting privacy.
Despite these minor issues, it was a comfortable stay and good value overall.

Despite it being 12am, Jude was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting me with a parcel that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria.
Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Jude — his dedication did not go unnoticed and made a stressful situation much easier to manage.

The other team members in the concierge department also did a helpful job with our baggage. It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my ******* food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!

MMooMooooThe location here is very good, less than 10 mins walk to West Nanjing Road metro. Over there for lots of shops and eateries too.
The only let down is the property.
The master room bathroom drainage is very bad. When you shower in that room, the water will come out from the outside sink hole (took a photo to show the bathroom) which then means the floor becomes very very wet. Also the inside sink hole doesn't flow well and very slow.
Secondly, the property smells like drainage/sewage especially when you come back after a whole day outside. When you turn on the aircon it ok, but if you don't you can smell it.
Otherwise, location is good, service was very smooth and easy for check in, and easy to communicate with the management, just a let down in the property.

I initially booked the lower bunk with shared facilities which is in effect like having a bottom bunk in a hostel except here is a door to your own space.
I shifted my arrival dates thus had to switch to a different room type: the single ensuite. I cost a bit more but was well worth it.
I thought the room was well designed and the perfect solution for those who do not like to waste money on a hotel room…just want a clean and convenient place to sleep.
The room had a single bed with an ensuite. The floor space was only sufficient to open the door, but other space was well designed. The space under the bed was sufficient for my multiple bags. Comfortable bed. Next to the headspace of the bed there were to shelves plus additional hooks to hang clothes…making 10 hooks in total….plus multiple hangers. Also next to the bed were additional light switches so you need not get up to turn off lights. There were two bottles of water, topped up each day, tissues, free earplugs and a small bin so while in bed you did not need to reach for the bin next to the bed or in the ensuite. These touches showed the thought put into the design during refurbishment of the space.
The shower room was small but I had no problems. Shampoo and shower gel included as well as toothbrush and comb. Small mirror in ensuite and long mirror on wall. Wall mounted hairdryer. The towels are disposable type, not my preference and I used one alongside my travel towel.
Housekeeping came each day to empty bins and top of water. The lady was very nice and upon noticing that I had been ill for a couple of days, inquired after my health and checked that I had medicine.
There is a laundry; need to scan a QR code to use the program to pay. 8rmb for a wash and dry is a bargain.
Near reception there is a microwave, water dispenser to get hot water, tea on tap as well as a wide selection of free tea bags, instant coffee as well as ground coffee machine & candies.
The room has vents for air circulation on all the time (no windows) and a separate air conditioner control. When arriving I automatically turned on the air con, that night I felt uncomfortably warm. The aircon temp could not go lower than 18 which is reasonable except the temperature felt much higher than 18, and even though the fan speed sounded louder at different speeds it caused no movement in air. On the 2nd day I experimented with leaving the air con turned off….it was much cooler than when on so I did not use the air con again during my stay and was not too warm again.
Location: West Nanjing road stop is on line 2 meaning no changes for Hongqiao or Pudong airports. It is also a connection for lines 12&13 making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The hotel is about 10-15min walk from the metro, which did not bother me at all, and I also made use of the many public bicycles. The hotel has responded to previous feedback as the instructions prior to check-in had detailed instructions from multiple dropping off points. I found the hotel no problem…it is on the 4th floor of a small building within a complex. When I went out on the first night, I came back to find that door locked, but it was easy to get back in by following the instructions from an alternative drop off point.
Points to consider:
- The walls of the ensuite are glass thus may be an issue if sharing a room
- The walls are thin and sound travels so not good for a very light sleeper. I stayed 10 nights and on only 2 nights did I have a noisy neighbour
- you may feel to cramped of travelling with large case.
- the rooms on the inside have no windows. The continuous air circulation may cause dry eyes and throat when waking up. When in the room I sometimes left the door open to not feel stuffy.
is new and modern. It was always clean. It is great value for money, especially considering it is in the city centre.
I stayed 10 nights.
