KK/CStaff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The best affordable hotel to stay at when visiting Disney. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Chinese, but fresh and tasty. Our daughter loved the rabbits in the garden. They offer a shuttle service to and from Disney and you can hire a big stroller from the hotel. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

PPengguna TetamuThe room itself is good, clean, and comfortable. However, there is a serious issue with noise from renovation work on the floor above. There are loud drilling and hammering noises continuously from around 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, making it impossible to rest.
The hotel announced that renovation work would take place from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but in reality, the noise starts much earlier than stated. I have already informed the hotel, but the noise still continues every morning.

PPengguna TetamuWe very much enjoyed our stay at Maxinge Boutique hotel. The location is excellent and right across from Yuansheng metro station. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The service provided was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also offers complimentary laundry which I didn't use but is very helpful especially when travelling. I did use the complimentary footbath which was a nice comfort after a long day of walking. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed there again!

JJadePYTWe stayed 5 nights at Waldorf Astoria and I must say that I had the best choice I could. The hotel is located conveniently at the central area of The Bud and guests can easily walk to the river side for views or Nanjing Road East and other main spots for visits. Hotel staff can speak English generally and guests won't have communication issues there.Hotel room is big, clean and fabulous. Our room was on the 12/F and it's a bit low so views of The Bud was partially blocked by the front buildings - higher floor is recommended.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed as a family of four with two children. The Peninsula Shanghai provided us with interconnecting rooms. The rooms were excellent, tastefully decorated and quiet. The amenities (hotel pool and gym) were in very good condition, breakfast was great, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We'll be back for the last leg of our journey and are looking forward to it.

CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested.
The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk.
Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages.
The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen.
BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best.
Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.

Persekitaran sarapan pagi juga luar biasa, dengan pelbagai jenis makanan, yang sangat sesuai untuk mendaftar masuk dan mengambil gambar.

MMooMooooThe location here is very good, less than 10 mins walk to West Nanjing Road metro. Over there for lots of shops and eateries too.
The only let down is the property.
The master room bathroom drainage is very bad. When you shower in that room, the water will come out from the outside sink hole (took a photo to show the bathroom) which then means the floor becomes very very wet. Also the inside sink hole doesn't flow well and very slow.
Secondly, the property smells like drainage/sewage especially when you come back after a whole day outside. When you turn on the aircon it ok, but if you don't you can smell it.
Otherwise, location is good, service was very smooth and easy for check in, and easy to communicate with the management, just a let down in the property.

GGeiorgiestravelsThis hotel has different room layouts so it is important to choose correctly.
I initially booked the lower bunk with shared facilities which is in effect like having a bottom bunk in a hostel except here is a door to your own space.
I shifted my arrival dates thus had to switch to a different room type: the single ensuite. I cost a bit more but was well worth it.
I thought the room was well designed and the perfect solution for those who do not like to waste money on a hotel room…just want a clean and convenient place to sleep.
The room had a single bed with an ensuite. The floor space was only sufficient to open the door, but other space was well designed. The space under the bed was sufficient for my multiple bags. Comfortable bed. Next to the headspace of the bed there were to shelves plus additional hooks to hang clothes…making 10 hooks in total….plus multiple hangers. Also next to the bed were additional light switches so you need not get up to turn off lights. There were two bottles of water, topped up each day, tissues, free earplugs and a small bin so while in bed you did not need to reach for the bin next to the bed or in the ensuite. These touches showed the thought put into the design during refurbishment of the space.
The shower room was small but I had no problems. Shampoo and shower gel included as well as toothbrush and comb. Small mirror in ensuite and long mirror on wall. Wall mounted hairdryer. The towels are disposable type, not my preference and I used one alongside my travel towel.
Housekeeping came each day to empty bins and top of water. The lady was very nice and upon noticing that I had been ill for a couple of days, inquired after my health and checked that I had medicine.
There is a laundry; need to scan a QR code to use the program to pay. 8rmb for a wash and dry is a bargain.
Near reception there is a microwave, water dispenser to get hot water, tea on tap as well as a wide selection of free tea bags, instant coffee as well as ground coffee machine & candies.
The room has vents for air circulation on all the time (no windows) and a separate air conditioner control. When arriving I automatically turned on the air con, that night I felt uncomfortably warm. The aircon temp could not go lower than 18 which is reasonable except the temperature felt much higher than 18, and even though the fan speed sounded louder at different speeds it caused no movement in air. On the 2nd day I experimented with leaving the air con turned off….it was much cooler than when on so I did not use the air con again during my stay and was not too warm again.
Location: West Nanjing road stop is on line 2 meaning no changes for Hongqiao or Pudong airports. It is also a connection for lines 12&13 making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The hotel is about 10-15min walk from the metro, which did not bother me at all, and I also made use of the many public bicycles. The hotel has responded to previous feedback as the instructions prior to check-in had detailed instructions from multiple dropping off points. I found the hotel no problem…it is on the 4th floor of a small building within a complex. When I went out on the first night, I came back to find that door locked, but it was easy to get back in by following the instructions from an alternative drop off point.
Points to consider:
- The walls of the ensuite are glass thus may be an issue if sharing a room
- The walls are thin and sound travels so not good for a very light sleeper. I stayed 10 nights and on only 2 nights did I have a noisy neighbour
- you may feel to cramped of travelling with large case.
- the rooms on the inside have no windows. The continuous air circulation may cause dry eyes and throat when waking up. When in the room I sometimes left the door open to not feel stuffy.
is new and modern. It was always clean. It is great value for money, especially considering it is in the city centre.
I stayed 10 nights.
