The rooms were clean, surrounding areas also clean, desk service was good, However I got food poisoning from the pies on the downstairs food counter. I mentioned it but no one seemed to be concerned.

The Hotel Staff are extremely polite and really go out of their way in making your stay pleasant. Check-in was quick and efficient, I was really impressed with the service. The breakfast buffet was delicious and they had staff assisting you with whatever you wanted. I can really say that off all the hotels I've been to, this one definitely has the best service. It's not the Hilton but the service definitely of high quality.

I've stayed at Bronte Hotel many times, and whenever I come back, I find the place as great as all the times before. The central location in Harare can't be beaten, and yet the place has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere as if it was located somewhere way outside the city centre. The lovely garden invites you to chill, especially after a hard day's work, and the restaurant offers you a good variety of food. I recommend Bronte Hotel to everybody who visits Harare. As for myself, I will certainly be back.

We have stayed in boutique hotels all over the world, and rarely have we been provided with such a completely artistic and aesthetic experience as we had at Amanzi Lodge. From our very first communication with the owner, Andrew Mama, and manager George, we were enveloped in what can only be described as Amanzi Lodge’s signature artistic hospitality. Every interaction throughout our entire stay was not just warm and friendly but genuinely above and beyond in its care and consideration. Each conversation with every staff member (from reception to gardeners to housekeeping to the magnificent restaurant crew) was a testament to the extraordinary level of attention and genuine kindness that defines Amanzi Lodge. Amanzi Lodge, with its beautiful gardens and unique charm, offers a truly memorable African experience. The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the stay, from the well-curated art pieces that adorn the interiors to the meticulously designed and maintained gardens that provide a serene and picturesque environment. The combination of fantastic food, interior design, and spectacular gardens showcases the very best of Africa, making every moment spent at Amanzi a celebration of beauty and artistry. When we travel, we always seek out a place to stay that can be a rejuvenating sanctuary after long days of exploring (or in the case of this trip, work and connections). Our stay in the Uganda Suite at Amanzi Lodge was nothing short of magical. The views were breathtaking, and the unique atmosphere of detailed elegance made us reluctant to ever leave the balcony. (Yes, even the balcony was indescribably special). While it would have been easy to just settle into and soak up the room, we are so glad we listened to adventure’s call and explored the breathtaking landscape that literally and figuratively flows throughout the entire property. Each time we ventured out to explore the Amanzi grounds, we were met with enchanting surprises. The interiors are exquisitely appointed, each room a masterpiece of design that feels both luxurious and welcoming, but the landscaping is a marvel, like strolling through a living art museum filled with vibrant sculptures and blooming flowers, reminiscent of a heaven-sent oasis. The owners, Julia and Andrew Mama, are the epitome of gracious hosts. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel like cherished guests and part of their extended family. They went above and beyond, connecting us with local artists and gallery curators, and their personal greetings in the corridors always came with a genuine smile and heartfelt conversation. Even now that we have returned home, the inspiration drawn from Amanzi Lodge continues to resonate. The space they have created is more than just a place to stay; it is a sanctuary of beauty, art, and heartfelt hospitality. The service was extremely terrible and slow starting from the reception to the restaurant, the beverages took forever to come through, the main meal wasn’t all that great. Extremely Disappointing especially for the price and being the most expensive hotel in Harare.

I was impressed by the food quality and variety, especially the emphasis on traditional meals. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming, thereby adding my appetite and I always looked forward to go to the restaurant. The hotel is located conveniently to the city centre business district. The room provided all the comfort I needed after the stressful business engagements in the conference rooms. Cleanliness was superb. I really appreciated the smiling culture and friendliness of staff, customer service is very good and the team was very responsive to our needs and queries. While customer service was spot-on, I would single out my unpleasant check-in experience. The room key (for room 272) was a duplicate key since there was another occupant in that same room on opening. How it opened from outside when there was already an occupant inside remains a mystery to me. However alert staff resolved this and I was relocated and given room 172. If this mix-up can be avoided in the future. Overall, the facilities and the experiences represent excellent value for money.

overall i enjoyed my stay. the staff went above and beyond serving me and my family. they were especially helpful with my kids. as usual the food was fantastic and the bed comfortable and linen clean.

My employer selected this place for me to stay, based on price, security, convenience, and amenities. It was a worthy choice. I was there among both African and European visitors, and I experienced a warm welcome. I found the breakfast was substantial and varied.
