We stumbled across the Suprise View on our way down from ticking off a few Wainwright's Walla Cragg Bleaberry Fell High Seat High Tove Armboth Fell Lots of cars and people. There are excellent views...
Amazing view
Came here whilst on hike from Keswick , from here you can see over Derwentwater and it's a lovely place to have 5 or ten minutes rest
Scenic Surprise
Close to Ashness Bridge we saw both views on a pretty miserable day. What we didn’t realise were the number of small islands there are in Derwentwater and how shallow the water was at this end. Worth...
Not surprise view, amazing view
Surprise view is amazing. Clear blue skies and you can see for miles. We’ve also been on a rainy day and it’s just as impressive. Watched the clouds and mist rollin in over Derwent
Lovely
A truly lovely sight, stunning views and peaceful. Well worth the visit. Only piece of advice is keep your dogs on a lead, it's a very long drop down.
