REXKL

REXKL is an interesting hub located in Jalan Sultan, city centre of Kuala Lumpur. Previously was a cinema, the structures of the cinema building is maintained, just recreated with unique interior designs, vivid colour and wall paintings. Featuring bookstore, exhibition hall, foodcourt, cafe and bar. It's hotspot for young generation and tourists.

REXKL is one of the must-visit places for anyone who has an infinity for arts. It is converted from an old defunct cinema and now houses a large bookstore BookXcess, which has become a popular OOTD site for many. I love how the spaces are being preserved and one could still see the many traces of the former cinema. There is a food court and some cafes, and studios and spaces for performing arts and events. But I must say most people go there for BookXcess, even if you’re not into books, it’s still worthwhile to pay a visit.

I secretly stopped by to take photos at BookXcess RexKL 📖📚📔 Cool Art Bookstore, another popular photo corner now. from a classic cinema The renovation is a bookstore with loft design, bare cement, with a lot of books. It is close to China Town. After taking photos, you can continue hunting and eating.

Reconstructed from the old Grand Theatre to a gathering place of cultural and creative arts, there are art performances from time to time

Loved our visit there, so many small creative businesses to support! Especially loved the bookstore and rex bar!We will come back for an event here for sure!
