　An old temple of the Rinzai sect built in 1179. It was originally the Tendai sect, but it became a temple of the Rinzai sect in 1263. It is said that Mitsutomo, the second generation of the Owari Tokugawa family, helped restore the one that had declined temporarily. Omori, who had the birthplace of mitsutomo's mother, was about 5 km east, and mitsutomo was born and lived after retirement.
