A shrine descending from the bank of the Kanae River

    Original Text

Located along the Kanie River, the bank is raised, so it will be shaped like going down the stone steps toward the shrine. As others have written, it was built in 1429 ~ 1441 when Kanie Castle was built. The shrine remains small, but Kanae Castle was quite damaged during the battle of Toyotomi vs. Tokugawa / Oda Komaki / Nagakute in 1584, and collapsed in the great earthquake of 1585 the following year. Castle in less than 150 years It seems that it has disappeared ...

A shrine located along the Kanae gawa River in the south of Kanae Jo castle. According to the history book of the shrine, Tokiyuki Hojo, the grandfather of Tokito Hojo, who built Kanae Castle, took a life under the protection of Amaterasu Omikami, so Tokito was founded as a deity of Amaterasu Omikami. I think it would be good to be able to be taken as part of the walk of "Slow Walking Town Kanae" with the river.

    Old Ujigami

    Original Text

Daigaku 々 It is the Ujigami of Honmachi, Kanae Town, which has been inherited and protected. It seems that the bustle of autumn festivals, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day is gradually decreasing, but the elegant precincts, adjacent temples and Jizo are still the same.
