Modern art museums, to be honest, are more trendy and more avant-garde museums. Most of them are postmodern style, with more abstract paintings, although I don't understand them. Tickets are not expensive and worth a look.

the museum is settled in an old mansion where all the rooms represent the Modernist interior architectural style when it was popular in Russia. The interior was reconstructed according to the memoirs of the owners. Trully unforgetable!

The name translates to the Museum of Modern Art, a place where avant-garde artists gather.
